🔍 Gold Price Action 🔍
Gold started running long after yesterday's GDP and inflation data releases.
We are heading into the monthly close, and Gold reacted off key daily lows, sweeping them.
At the moment, it seems to be forming an accumulation schematic, but from a swing perspective, I’m still missing the daily shift.
Therefore, the positions I’ll be looking for will be intraday on the H4 and H1 timeframes, without expecting massive moves.
This is just the beginning of a pattern; it is not confirmed yet. Keep your eyes open.
KEY MACRO NEWS:
Iran deal optimism has become the dominant market narrative, but the deal remains unsigned as of this morning; key sticking points:
Iran's nuclear stockpile,
Hormuz sovereignty,
Israeli objections — remain unresolved.
Oil (Brent at $92 at the time of writing) has pulled back sharply but still carries an elevated geopolitical risk premium; if the deal collapses, oil will reprice violently higher.
Most traders are treating the Iran deal as a solved problem. It is not.
The deal framework has three unresolved points:
(1) Iran has not agreed to dismantle its nuclear program or remove enriched uranium — Israel is strongly against this;
(2) Iran claims sovereignty over Hormuz and wants to levy tolls — the US has demanded freedom of navigation;
(3) The US conducted military strikes inside the ceasefire window on May 25–26, which Iran labeled as a violation.
Any one of these three points could collapse the framework.
