Karmen Order Flow

417
Institutional Order Flow Analysis.

Order flow analysis is about reading the real-time buying and selling pressure in a market by watching how orders actually hit the tape — rather than just looking at price and volume after the fact.

Here's what each pillar means in practice, and then the script:Delta — the difference between volume hitting the ask (buy aggression) vs the bid (sell aggression) within a bar. Positive delta = buyers in control that bar.Bid/ask imbalance — when one side of the book is dramatically thinner than the other, price tends to move toward the imbalance. Strong ask imbalance = upward pressure.Absorption — when large limit orders are waiting at a level and aggressors keep hitting them without moving price much. This signals a strong player defending that level.Footprint / Volume at Price (VAP) — shows exactly how much volume traded at each price tick inside a candle. Reveals where the real interest was, not just the candle's open/close.VWAP — the fair-value anchor for institutional flow. Price above VWAP with positive delta = strong bullish order flow.
