META 4H — Post-Breakout Rejection Into FVG

215
META has made a very aggressive breakout from the $680–692 resistance zone. That level had capped price before, but the breakout pushed META straight toward $740 with almost no pullback.

Now price is running into a clear $740–750 supply/rejection zone.

This is important because the rally from around $680 to $740 happened very fast and left a large 4H Fair Value Gap around $692–725 below price.

So after this move, I’m more interested in a pullback than chasing META at $736–741.

META SHORT SETUP

> Entry: $737–740 rejection
TP1: $720
TP2: $705
TP3: $690–695
SL: $753

I’ll take the short if META keeps rejecting the $737–745 area and starts losing the current breakout momentum.

The first target is around $720, inside the FVG. After that, $705 is the middle of the imbalance, while $692–695 is the main target because that's where the FVG meets the previous breakout zone.

That $692 area is also where I would stop being aggressive on the short. It could become a strong buy-the-dip area if buyers defend it.

> Why META moved this hard?

This isn't a random technical breakout. META jumped more than 11% on September 21, with the market reacting strongly to the early traction of Meta's new Muse AI agent and expectations around Meta Connect.

Muse only launched on September 8. Meta describes it as a personal AI agent that can actually perform tasks such as sending emails and booking travel rather than only answering questions. It runs on Meta's new Muse Spark model.

Early adoption has been one of the biggest reasons for the sudden change in sentiment. Reuters reported this week that Muse had already passed 2.5 million downloads, while Meta is continuing to test additional features such as phone-based task execution.

And there is another immediate catalyst: Meta Connect starts September 23, meaning the stock is heading into a major company event immediately after this huge rally. Expectations are centered heavily on AI, smart glasses and Meta's broader AI strategy.

> My trade here is about the rejection

The bigger trend is clearly bullish. I’m not trying to call the top of META. I’m trading the short-term imbalance after a nearly vertical move into resistance
