1. Liquidity map. Buy-side liquidity (BSL) was resting above the equal highs at X — retail stop territory. Sell-side liquidity (SSL) sat below the equal lows at C. Fuel above, target below.
2. False break. Price broke above X (0.005470) with a wick to 0.005478 — retail read it as a breakout and the stops above were taken. But the break failed: zero body ratio, no follow-through, only 0.46 ATR of overshoot. Not a breakout — a sweep.
3. Harmonic completion. The sweep landed in the same zone as the Gartley's D point (PRZ). Pattern geometry and the liquidity hunt agreed — not harmonic alone, not sweep alone, but their confluence.
4. Confirmation. A bearish displacement followed the sweep. I did not enter before confirmation.
5. The trade. SHORT at 0.005470 on the retest of the swept level. Stop 0.005514, above X and above the sweep wick — a return there invalidates the thesis. Target 0.005379, the sell-side liquidity below the equal lows at C. R:R 2.08.
Invalidation: a 15m close above 0.005514. That would make it a genuine breakout, not a sweep.
