Yesterday, we sold in the 4070-4080 range, expecting a drop to around 4040, which went roughly as predicted, with gold prices hitting a low of 4044. The subsequent price action also followed my earlier assessment. The only regret was that my expected entry point for a long position was at 4025, missing the subsequent rapid upward movement.
As I mentioned in yesterday's analysis, gold prices would need to break through 4100 for a rapid rebound. Today, gold prices quickly stabilized above 4100 after the market opened. I personally expect this round of rebound to be far from over and that the rebound will likely continue. The next step is to see if 4200 will be broken. Once 4200 is broken and stabilized, a real reversal will occur, and the upside potential will further expand.
