Technically, the S&P 500 has formed a trendline and is currently consolidating right at the third touch. According to technical analysis patterns, this setup has a high probability of an upward breakout.
The Upside (Bullish Factors)
The primary driver for further growth remains the continued rally in tech stocks that are actively integrating Artificial Intelligence. I expect the AI trend to persist, and it’s highly likely that companies manufacturing various AI hardware and infrastructure will follow suit and catch up with the broader market.
There is a common narrative that the AI sector is already overvalued. However, that’s just an opinion. Personally, I see that AI is not yet functioning at its full potential, meaning there is still plenty of room for growth.
The Downside (Risks)
We live in highly unstable times today. The market's upward momentum could easily be disrupted by some new geopolitical conflict or global turmoil drawing in the US.
