Gold is currently sitting at a critical decision point, where the next breakout will likely define direction.
On the weekly timeframe, the major structure remains bullish, while the minor structure is bearish and appears to be completing its corrective phase. This increases the probability of bearish continuation, potentially targeting the 4100.22 level. However, confirmation from lower timeframes is still required.
On the daily timeframe, the major structure is bearish, while the minor structure remains bullish due to the ongoing weekly correction. This suggests that the corrective phase is still active, as no clear shift has occurred yet.
On the 4H timeframe, the market has moved out of a bullish phase but has not yet confirmed a valid bearish structure. The current price behavior suggests a potential end to the daily minor correction, opening the door for possible bullish structures on lower timeframes—unless a strong breakdown occurs.
As mentioned in the previous analysis, price was expected to continue lower and break below 4668.62, which did occur, although accompanied by fake breakouts on the highs.
On the 1H timeframe, the structure remains bearish in line with higher timeframes, but clear weakness is visible in continuation, both in major and minor structures.
For bullish continuation to gain strength, a strong break and close above 4740.57 on the 4H timeframe is required.
On the 15-minute timeframe, the market is currently neutral. I’m waiting for valid breakouts to align with higher timeframe scenarios:
Break above 4729.69 → bullish scenarios
Break below 4708.98 → bearish continuation toward 4672.40
In the bigger picture, further downside toward 4658.03 remains possible if higher timeframe bearish rotation confirms.
What do you think? Breakout to the upside or continuation lower?
Waiting for confirmation. Manage your risk.
