Gold is still stuck in this accumulation phase. Let’s see what happens today.
At the moment, we have a nice trap below the lows.
Get ready, today could get interesting.
Reminder: 13:30 – PPI (producer inflation data).
This comes out before the FOMC meeting, so stay sharp.
What to expect from this release?
Previous: 0.5
Forecast: 0.3
The market is expecting inflation to cool down.
🟢 If the data is < 0.3 (or much lower)
Confirms falling inflation
Expectation:
Gold UP, with a possible downside trap first
🔴 If the data is > 0.3
Inflation still strong
Expectation:
Gold DOWN
⚠️ If the data comes out at 0.3
Uncertain situation
Market will likely wait for the
FOMC meeting (19:00–19:30) and speech by Jerome Powell

I avoid trading during the Asian and London sessions.
I focus on the 14:30 news and the New York open at 15:30.
