ICT London Protraction Model

📘 London Intraday Protraction — Structured Model
(Inspired by ICT Concepts)
Intraday market profiling tool based on ICT Time and Price Parameters (Month 08 framework).
1️⃣ Core Concept
This indicator translates the narrative framework of the London Intraday Protraction model into a structured, rule-based implementation.
It formalizes:
The goal is not prediction, but structured anticipation.
2️⃣ Time Parameters (America/New_York)
All session logic is strictly anchored to America/New_York timezone (DST aware).
The model is built around four key windows:
These windows define accumulation and expected manipulation timing prior to the London session expansion.
3️⃣ Price Parameters & Validation
The indicator evaluates market structure based on range size.
CBDR Validation : Valid if between 15 and 40 pips
Asian Range Validation : Valid if between 20 and 30 pips
Ranges can be calculated using:
From the Midnight Open, the model projects up to 3 standard deviations, calculated exclusively from the CBDR size.
These levels act as structural reference zones for potential London session extremes.
4️⃣ Protraction Profiles
Each session is classified into one of three scenarios:
🔹 Normal Protraction
🔹 Delayed Protraction
🔹 Normal Protraction Negated
5️⃣ Visual Features
6️⃣ Analytical Purpose
This tool aims to:
It is a structural model, not a trading signal generator.
⚠️ Important Disclaimer
This indicator:
However:
The original Pro+ indicator by toodegrees is a paid product for a reason.
This version is intended for educational, analytical, and structural experimentation purposes

- Time-based accumulation phases
- Price range validation
- Midnight Open pivot logic
- Judas Swing detection
- London session manipulation profiling
The goal is not prediction, but structured anticipation.
2️⃣ Time Parameters (America/New_York)
All session logic is strictly anchored to America/New_York timezone (DST aware).
The model is built around four key windows:
- Central Bank Dealers Range (CBDR): 14:00 → 20:00
- Asian Range (AR): 20:00 → 00:00
- Midnight Open: Exact opening price at 00:00
- London Time Opportunity Box: 02:00 → 05:00
These windows define accumulation and expected manipulation timing prior to the London session expansion.
3️⃣ Price Parameters & Validation
The indicator evaluates market structure based on range size.
CBDR Validation : Valid if between 15 and 40 pips
Asian Range Validation : Valid if between 20 and 30 pips
Ranges can be calculated using:
- Wicks (High/Low)
- Bodies (Open/Close)
- Standard Deviations (SD)
From the Midnight Open, the model projects up to 3 standard deviations, calculated exclusively from the CBDR size.
These levels act as structural reference zones for potential London session extremes.
4️⃣ Protraction Profiles
Each session is classified into one of three scenarios:
🔹 Normal Protraction
- Price parameters valid
- Judas Swing detected between 00:00 and 02:00
- Daily high or low expected early in London session
🔹 Delayed Protraction
- Invalid price parameters
- Manipulation expected later, within 02:00–05:00
🔹 Normal Protraction Negated
- Valid price parameters
- No early manipulation detected
- Protraction anticipated later in the London session
- This classification formalizes the relationship between time behavior and range conditions.
5️⃣ Visual Features
- Automatic CBDR and Asian Range boxes
- Pip size labels
- Dynamic color coding (valid vs invalid ranges)
- SD Tile with deviation grid
- London Opportunity Box (02:00–05:00)
- Midnight Open line (00:00 → 11:00)
- Optional statistical dashboard
6️⃣ Analytical Purpose
This tool aims to:
- Reduce discretionary over-trading
- Structure intraday bias
- Identify high-probability London conditions
- Quantify a traditionally narrative ICT framework
It is a structural model, not a trading signal generator.
⚠️ Important Disclaimer
This indicator:
- Is free and publicly available
- Is a personal structured implementation inspired by ICT teachings
- Is heavily inspired by the “London Intraday Protraction [Pro+]” work by toodegrees
However:
- It is not a copy of the original paid script
- It does not replicate proprietary implementation details
- Logical differences may exist
- Errors or approximations may be present
The original Pro+ indicator by toodegrees is a paid product for a reason.

Technical Notes
For best results:
- Use 1-minute or 5-minute timeframes
