Session Range Dashboard
The Session Range Dashboard is a statistical monitoring tool that tracks the price range (High to Low) of every major global trading session in real-time. It compares current "Live" volatility against a rolling 10-day historical median to help traders identify when a session is "compressed" or when a move is reaching historical "exhaustion."

By understanding the typical "DNA" of a session's range, you can avoid chasing trades that have already moved their full expected distance or identify high-probability breakout opportunities when a session remains tightly coiled.

Sessions Tracked (NY Time)
The dashboard automatically segments the trading day into institutional windows:

Asia: 18:00 – 03:00 (The initial liquidity build).

LDN (London): 03:00 – 06:00 (The trend setter).

Pre-NY: 06:00 – 09:30 (The gap and trap window).

NY (New York RTH): 09:30 – 16:00 (The main volume expansion).

OVN (Overnight): 18:00 – 09:30 (The total range before the US Open).

Key Metrics & Features
Live Range: The current high-to-low distance for the active session.

10D Med (10-Day Median): The "normal" range for that specific session over the last two weeks.

% Med (Expansion Tracking): A dynamic color-coded percentage:

Red (<70%): The session is compressed; expansion potential is high.

Yellow (70-99%): The session is reaching its average expected range.

Lime (>100%): The session has exceeded its median; expansion is likely overextended (Exhaustion).

1SD (Standard Deviation): Calculated for the full Day range to help you identify "Outlier" days where volatility is significantly higher than normal.

How to Use This Dashboard
Spotting Breakouts: If the LDN session is 2 hours in but only showing 30% of its Median, watch for a massive expansion move as it "catches up" to its historical average.

Target Selection: If you enter a trade in NY and the session is already at 95% of its Median, it is statistically unlikely to move much further. This is often the ideal time to take profits.

Daily Bias: Use the Day row to see if the current daily candle has fulfilled its expected volatility. If price is at the Daily Low and the range is at 110% of Median, a mean-reversion bounce is statistically favored.

Technical Details
Rolling Logic: The 10-day lookback ensures the data adapts to current market regimes (shifting from low-volatility periods to high-volatility periods).

Timezone Consistency: Uses America/New_York to ensure all session transitions are perfectly aligned with CME and NYSE opens.

Clean UI: Placed at the Middle Left of the chart to provide a persistent HUD without interfering with your primary price analysis.

Disclaimer: Range statistics are a measure of volatility, not a guarantee of direction. Use this tool to manage your expectations of how far price can move in a given window
