LR Chart Signals by WHS
This indicator brings classic Linda Raschke Oscillator logic directly onto your main price chart.
It tracks momentum shifts using tick-level calculations and signals mean-reversion entries when price bounces back from extreme levels.
How It Works
LR Core: Measures the difference between a 3-period Fast MA and a 10-period Slow MA, adjusted by the chart's minimum tick size.
Longline: A 16-period SMA signal line that smooths out momentum to show the broader direction.
BUY Signal: Occurs when momentum crosses back above the lower threshold (oversold bounce).
SELL Signal: Occurs when momentum crosses back below the upper threshold (overbought pullback).
Trend Filter: An optional 200 MA filter to ensure BUYs only trigger in uptrends and SELLs only trigger in downtrends.
Info Box: A clean dashboard table at the bottom displaying live values, signal state, thresholds, and tick size.
Settings
Core Parameters: Adjust Fast MA, Slow MA, and Signal MA periods.
Thresholds: Set upper (+100) and lower (-100) trigger limits.
Trend Filter: Toggle and set the Trend MA length.
Visuals: Toggle background highlights, B / S chart labels, and the Info Box table.
Alerts
LR Sig — BUY: Triggers on a confirmed bullish crossover.
LR Sig — SELL: Triggers on a confirmed bearish crossunder.
LR Sig — Any Signal: Triggers on any new signal.
