GM Institutional Levels is a clean price-level indicator designed to highlight important psychological market levels where price may react, pause, reject or break through.
The indicator was originally built from my round-number logic on USDNOK and later adapted for Gold and other markets.
It separates levels into:
Minor Institutional Levels
Major Institutional Levels
For Gold, the default structure uses:
$50 Minor Institutional Levels
$100 Major Institutional Levels
The indicator also includes presets for Gold, Forex, Indices, Crypto and Custom markets, together with price labels, a dashboard and optional alerts when price approaches or crosses an important level.
These levels are not automatic buy or sell signals. They are intended as areas to watch for confirmation from price action, market structure, FVG/IFVG, divergence and other forms of confluence.

GM Institutional Levels — v2.1 UpdateThis update adds more flexibility for scalping while keeping the original major levels and clean chart layout.
What’s new:
• Optional 10 and 25 level groups for finer price-level mapping.
• A new 1000 Macro level group for broader market context.
• Separate alert switches for all five level groups.
• Alerts for proximity, wick touches, and confirmed closes above or below a level.
• Automatic colors for light and dark chart backgrounds.
• Improved label contrast, with optional hiding of scalp labels.
• Updated dashboard showing each group’s spacing and nearest level.
Gold, Forex, Index, Crypto and Custom presets remain available. Level spacing follows the selected preset: group names such as “10” and “1000” do not represent the same price distance across every market. Custom mode lets you adjust all five spacings.
Levels automatically recenter around the current price. Overlapping levels display the higher-priority group to keep the chart clean.
To use alerts, enable the desired level groups and event types in the settings, then create a TradingView alert. Select “Any alert() function call” for combined alerts with level prices, or choose an individual condition. Existing alerts must be recreated to use this update.
Light and dark layouts have been checked on Gold, and an alert has been confirmed working. Feedback from other markets is welcome. If you encounter an issue, please include the symbol, timeframe, preset and a screenshot.

GM Institutional Levels v2.2 – Multi MarketGM Institutional Levels is a multi-market round-number indicator designed to display structured psychological and institutional price levels directly on the chart.
The indicator supports:
• Gold
• Forex
• Indices
• Cryptocurrency
• Norwegian and US stocks
• Custom instruments and manually selected spacing
The dedicated Stocks preset uses the following price intervals:
• 1 – Scalp level
• 2.5 – Intermediate level
• 5 – Minor level
• 10 – Major level
• 100 – Macro level
The original Gold and Index structure uses:
• 10 – Scalp level
• 25 – Intermediate level
• 50 – Minor level
• 100 – Major level
• 1000 – Macro level
Levels are automatically aligned with the symbol’s minimum tick size. This allows the same indicator to work across markets with different pricing structures.

Suggested workflow:
Use the higher levels to identify important support, resistance, liquidity targets and potential market magnets. Use the smaller levels for intraday structure, confirmation and precise entries.
My preferred workflow is:
• 15-minute chart for structure and support/resistance
• 5-minute chart for confirmation
• 1-minute chart for entry
The indicator can also be combined with trendlines, market structure, liquidity sweeps, break-and-retest setups and candle confirmation.
Important:
These levels are price references, not automatic buy or sell signals. Wait for price action and confirmation before making a trading decision.

Update v2.6 — Automatic Market Detection & Flexible Custom Levels• Added “Auto - All Markets”: automatically selects level spacing using the instrument type and price.
• Improved support for low-priced stocks, including decimal levels such as 0.11, 0.12 and 0.13.
• USD gold retains the familiar 10 / 25 / 50 / 100 / 1000 spacing.
• Custom mode lets you choose your own spacing for all five groups: Scalp, Intermediate, Minor, Major and Macro.
• Clearer settings, labels and dashboard information show the actual spacing being used.
• Automatic spacing uses the previous completed candle to remain stable during the current candle.
• Grid changes are prevented from triggering false level-crossing alerts.
Select “Auto - All Markets” for automatic spacing, or “Custom” to explore your own levels. Unrecognized instruments use price-based spacing and can be adjusted manually.
This indicator displays round-number price grids, not buy or sell signals.
