MonoIntel Velocity Box: RTH Opening 30 Minutes and Extensions

This indicator plots the range of the first 30 minutes of the US regular session and projects it above and below.
How it works. Times are fixed to New York time. From 09:30 to 10:00 the script tracks the high and low and shades the range as a box. At 10:00 it locks the box and draws the high, low and midpoint lines. These extend right until the next 09:30 open. It also draws four extension lines: half the range and one full range above the high, and the same below the low. These run from 09:30 to 16:00 only. Labels are off by default. Turn them on to show the price of each level. A thin grey edge behind each extension keeps light-coloured lines visible on a light chart; turn it off on a dark chart. The extensions are multiples of the opening range. They are not statistical standard deviations.
What is different. It uses a fixed 30-minute window, not the usual 60-minute initial balance. The box stays fixed to the window while the boundary lines carry forward overnight, so the prior day's range stays visible until the next open.
Inputs. The box, top and bottom lines, midpoint and extensions each have colour, style and width settings. Show or hide the box, each line and the midpoint. Grey edge on or off. Price labels on or off.
Use. For index futures and US equities on charts of one hour or lower. On 45 and 60 minute charts the box is read from finer data, so it stays exact. Nothing is drawn above one hour or if there is no data in the window. Reference levels only.
