When Is Bitcoin a Good Long Opportunity?

📌 When Is Bitcoin a Good Long Opportunity?

Does this mean no one should go long until Bitcoin reaches $82,760?

Not at all.

I know some traders may disagree, and I also don't want anyone to misunderstand my point.

So let me explain.

One of the fundamental principles of trading is to trade with the trend—not against it.

Since most of my analyses are based on the Daily and 4-hour timeframes, the primary trend on those charts is currently bearish. That's why my main focus is on short opportunities.

This approach is especially intended for swing traders and traders who primarily use these higher timeframes.

Can you trade against the trend?

Yes—but you should do so with greater caution, lower risk, and more conservative expectations.

Your primary focus should always be trading in the direction of your main trend and capturing the major legs of that trend.

Here's the key point:

Always trade in the direction of the trend on your **structure timeframe**.

Your structure timeframe may be different from someone else's.

For example, if you're trading on the 1-hour or 15-minute chart and your market structure has already turned bullish on those timeframes, then naturally it makes more sense to look for long opportunities.

✔️ When we say "trade with the trend," we mean the trend of **your higher structure timeframe**.

The same principle applies not only to Bitcoin, but to every market and every trading instrument.
