1. USD has been quite strong economically for a while now (both in positive surprises of recent releases and in various economic metrics). Although NZD is also picking up, I don't think it's enough to beat the dollar right now
2. Downtrend on daily, weekly charts (also on higher time frames)
3. While I'm not able to share, there are significantly more short contracts on NZD compared to USD (according to the latest Commitment of Traders report).
Also, I've marked the maximum peak monthly performance of the NZD/USD (2.20%). While this doesn't automatically indicate a bearish signal, it indicates an over-extended market.
I also marked today's implied volatility level, which is often a strong turning point.
