Palantir was a market leader from April 2025 through August 2025, in a Stage 2 uptrend. From August 2025 to January 2026, it appeared to enter a topping process, or Stage 3. From January 2026 to February 2026, it looks to have been in a stage 4 decline. From March 2026, the stock appears to be forming a Stage 1 base.
Current Technical Setup
• The clearest signal at this stage is the possibility of a higher low, although that still needs confirmation.
• The chart also appears to be forming a falling wedge, a pattern that is often associated with potential reversals.
I am optimistic that PLTR could resume its uptrend and eventually break out into another Stage 2 advance. I am watching for the stock to reclaim the 21 EMA and the 50 DMA and then break above the down-sloping trendline. I have set an alert on that trendline so I can revisit the chart if price strength returns.
For now, this remains a watchlist stock for me and a useful example of stage analysis in practice.
