XAUUSD has moved out of a prolonged compression phase after breaking above the upper boundary of the symmetrical triangle. The steady formation of higher lows before the breakout showed that buyers were becoming more active each time price pulled back.
The breakout was supported by strong bullish momentum, while price has remained above the previous resistance instead of quickly falling back into the pattern. This behavior strengthens the breakout and suggests that buying pressure is still in control.
A controlled pullback toward the broken boundary could now act as a retest. If buyers defend this area and turn it into support, XAUUSD may continue its advance toward 4,300.
The bullish setup remains intact as long as price holds above the breakout zone.
