GOLD has been in a global downtrend since testing global peak 2070.
On the chart we see a strong price channel and a distributive movement from the resistance zone. The price has almost reached the liquidity zone.
I think a false break of support 1690 and a liquidity grab is possible, after which a surge in volume and a strong pullback are possible.
I assume that the price will test the level of 1690 by a false breakdown, after which it can form a pullback to resistance. The key zone is the resistance area of 1724.
