The CandelaCharts - Killzone Opening indicator is designed to highlight the initial price ranges of key trading sessions. By visualizing the "Opening" vs the "Full Killzone", it helps traders identify institutional interest and potential breakout or mean-reversion levels that often form during the start of a session.
📦 Features
- 5 Customizable Sessions: Pre-configured for Asia (AS), London (LO), NY AM, NY Lunch (NYLA), and NY PM.
- Dual Window Logic: Separate inputs for the "Opening" window (where the range is defined) and the "Full Killzone" (where the range lines extend).
- Extend Modes: Choose how far your range lines project:
- Killzone: Extends to the end of the current session's full window.
- Next Killzone: Extends until the next session begins.
- Current Candle: Extends indefinitely to the latest bar.
- Visual Range Lines: Automatically plots High, Low, and Mid-point lines for every opening session.
- Session History: Keep up to 100 previous sessions on your chart for historical analysis.
- Session Dividers: Clean vertical lines to demarcate session starts with customizable styles.
⚙️ Settings
- General: Configure global font family and text size for branding.
- Timezone: Set the base timezone (default: America/New_York).
- Extend: Global setting for how far range lines should project across the chart.
- Session Range: Toggle the High/Low/Mid lines.
- Show Labels: Toggle the visibility of the session name on the chart.
- History: Number of previous sessions to retain on the chart.
- Session Inputs (1-5):
- Show: Toggle individual sessions.
- Color: Personalize the session's visual theme.
- Name: Short label for the session.
- Opening: The specific time window used to calculate the session's High/Low range.
- Killzone: The full duration of the session.
- Dividers: Toggle and style the vertical session start lines.
