PRECISION LITE — Intraday Rose Buy / Purple Exit Indicator
WHAT IT DOES:
Precision Lite detects two specific intraday market conditions on US stocks using a multi-condition scoring system.
ROSE BUY SIGNAL (potential bottoming zones)
- Detects a bullish Heikin-Ashi flip
- Confirms an immediate bullish price shift (close > open and close > previous close)
- Requires recovery from the lower Bollinger Band zone (with ATR-based tolerance)
- Validates with RMI staying below an oversold threshold
- Confirms momentum and MACD recovery
- Requires a minimum close strength inside the candle range
- Uses a configurable scoring system (default: at least 3 conditions out of 5)
- Applies a cooldown to avoid clustered signals
PURPLE EXIT SIGNAL (potential extension exhaustion)
- Detects a touch of the upper Bollinger Band (ATR-based tolerance)
- Requires rejection of the upper band (close below upper BB)
- Validates an upper wick / body ratio above a configurable threshold
- Requires RMI above an overbought threshold
- Confirms local extension (new high over a configurable lookback)
- Requires immediate weakness (weak close, momentum or MACD deceleration)
- Applies a cooldown to avoid clustered signals
UNDERLYING CONCEPTS:
The script combines three layers:
1. STRUCTURE — Bollinger Bands (20, 2) define exhaustion and recovery zones
2. MOMENTUM — RMI (14, 5), Momentum (10), MACD (12, 26, 9) confirm directional context
3. CANDLE CONTEXT — Heikin-Ashi Improved smoothed candles filter visual noise
The combination is designed to identify two specific moments: a recovery from oversold structural lows (Rose Buy) and a rejection at overextended local highs (Purple Exit). Each signal requires multi-condition confirmation rather than a single trigger.
HOW TO USE:
- Apply on US stocks (NASDAQ tickers recommended)
- Recommended timeframe: 15-minute (5-minute also supported)
- Rose Buy signals appear below the bar (pink label)
- Purple Exit signals appear above the bar (purple label)
- Each signal is independent; the script does not generate orders
INPUTS:
All thresholds (RMI, BB tolerance, close strength, wick ratio, cooldown, lookback) are configurable to adapt to different volatility profiles.
