🔵 OVERVIEW

Liquidity Hunt Pro [Viprasol] is a Smart Money Concepts indicator built around one setup: a liquidity sweep followed by a market structure shift. When price wicks through the latest swing high or low and closes back inside it, the indicator waits a few bars for a strong close beyond the opposite swing. If that close comes, it prints BUY or SELL with an entry, a stop at the sweep extreme and three risk-multiple targets. Around that core it labels structure breaks as BOS or CHoCH, marks buy-side and sell-side liquidity with lines that show when a level was swept or taken, draws the latest order block and fair value gap on each side, and fades those zones once price has used them up.

It is built for intraday and swing traders who trade liquidity grabs and want the sweep, the confirmation, the stop logic and the surrounding structure on one chart, with alerts that carry the full trade plan.

🔵 WHY A SWEEP NEEDS A STRUCTURE SHIFT

  • A sweep alone is not a reversal. Wicks through swing highs and lows are frequent, and many are followed by continuation. Requiring a close beyond the opposite swing within a few bars shows that price did more than run stops: it shifted structure the other way.
  • The stop has a structural home. The sweep extreme is where the liquidity grab failed. If price trades back beyond it, the idea is invalid, so it is the stop and the base for the R-multiple targets.
  • A body filter removes drifting closes. The shift candle must close in the signal direction with a body of at least a set fraction of ATR, so a weak drift above the swing does not count as a shift.
  • Structure and zones frame the setup. A CHoCH label shows when the shift also turned structure against the previous direction, and the latest fresh order block and fair value gap on the signal side show where a pullback after the shift may retest. They are read together with the signal but are not extra conditions, so the BUY / SELL stays a two-step sweep-and-shift test.
  • The trend filter is optional. EMA 50 / 200 can restrict signals to the prevailing trend. It is off by default so that counter-trend reversals are shown as well.

🔵 WHAT IS ORIGINAL

  • A two-step signal with a timed confirmation: a sweep only arms a setup. The BUY / SELL needs the first confirmed close beyond the swing that stood at the sweep, within a set number of bars, with a body of at least a set fraction of ATR, and at least 10 candles after the previous signal. A sweep on the other side cancels the setup and a new sweep on the same side restarts it with a new stop.
  • Levels that track their own state: liquidity lines report SWEPT and fade once a close takes them, structure breaks are labelled once per level as BOS or CHoCH, and order blocks and gaps fade once mitigated. The chart and the Fresh Zones row show only the liquidity and zones that are still live.
  • Zones tied to the shift: when the shift close is also the first break of that swing, the order block drawn on that break is the last opposite candle before the shift, a common retest area after a confirmed sweep.

🔵 HOW IT WORKS

Swing liquidity, then sweep, then structure shift, then entry with stop and targets. Structure labels and zones run alongside as context.

1 — Swing Liquidity

Pine Script®

  • Confirmation delay: a swing is only known Swing Length bars after it prints, and no sweep, break or signal uses a level before it is confirmed. Lines and zones are drawn back to their swing bar or source candle, so on historical bars they start before the bar on which they became known.
  • Liquidity lines: a dashed line and label sit at each level. The label reads SWEPT after a wick through. Once a bar closes beyond the level, the line stops at that bar, turns dotted and fades, and its label is removed, because the liquidity there has been taken.

2 — Liquidity Sweep

Pine Script®

  • Multi-bar sweeps: by default a wick back through a level that an earlier close had already broken also counts, which catches sweeps that take more than one bar (close beyond, then reclaim). The "Ignore Sweeps of Broken Levels" setting limits sweeps to levels that were never closed through and gives noticeably fewer signals.
  • Markers: by default only the sweep that armed each BUY / SELL gets a circle, so the chart shows which sweep each signal came from. Sweep Markers set to "Every sweep" circles all of them.

3 — Market Structure Shift: the Signal

Pine Script®

  • One signal per sweep: a signal ends the waiting setup. A sweep on the other side cancels it, and a new sweep on the same side restarts the window with the new sweep's extreme as the stop.
  • Fresh shift and spacing: if price is already past the shift level when a new sweep arms the setup, the next candle is not a new shift, so no repeat signal is printed. At least 10 candles separate two signals in either direction. "Require Fresh Shift Close" off and "Bars Between Signals" 0 give the classic behaviour.
  • Bar close only: sweeps, shifts and signals are evaluated on confirmed bars, so a label never appears and disappears inside a bar.

4 — Entry, Stop and Three Targets

Pine Script®

  • Drawing: entry, stop and targets are horizontal lines with price labels that start at the signal bar. Each target line stops with a ✓ on the bar price first reaches it, and every line stops on the bar the stop (✗) or TP3 is hit. A bar that touches both the stop and a target counts as the stop. While the trade is open the lines reach the right edge. Only the latest signal's plan is drawn.

5 — Structure Breaks: BOS and CHoCH

Pine Script®

  • Why once per level: when price closes above a swing high, falls back and closes above it again, the second close is not a new structural event, so it is not labelled again.
  • Drawing: a thin dotted line runs from the broken swing to the break bar with a small BOS or CHoCH tag on it. Only the latest 10 breaks stay on the chart (Structure Breaks Shown). The classic style puts a label under / over every break bar instead.

6 — Order Blocks and Fair Value Gaps

Pine Script®

  • Latest zone of each type: one bullish and one bearish order block, one bullish and one bearish gap. A new zone replaces the previous one of the same type.
  • Mitigated zones: a used-up zone stops extending, turns dotted and fades, and its text reads "mitigated". The Wick mode uses highs and lows instead of closes. The Never mode keeps every zone extended.

7 — Dashboard

  • Rows: last signal with bars ago, timeframe, last structure break (BOS or CHoCH) with bars ago, the SMC tools in use, the EMA 50 / 200 trend, and the fresh (not yet mitigated) zones, which read MITIGATION OFF when Zone Mitigation is set to Never.

🔵 KEY FEATURES

  • Sweep + shift signal: BUY / SELL only after a liquidity sweep and a fresh close beyond the opposite swing with a body of at least 0.15 x ATR (adjustable), spaced at least 10 candles apart
  • Structural stop: stop at the sweep extreme, three R-multiple targets with price labels
  • BOS and CHoCH: each structure break labelled once per swing level, with CHoCH marking breaks against the prevailing structure
  • Live liquidity lines: buy-side and sell-side levels that read SWEPT after a wick through and fade once a close takes them
  • Order blocks and FVGs: latest zone of each type, faded once mitigated (Close, Wick or Never)
  • EMA 50 / 200: optional trend filter and trend read-out
  • Dashboard: last signal, timeframe, structure, SMC tools, trend and fresh zones
  • Alerts: 14 alert conditions plus BUY / SELL alerts that carry entry, stop and all three targets as text or JSON

🔵 HOW TO USE

Setup

  • Chart: liquid forex pairs, indices, metals, crypto or stocks, standard candlesticks, 1m to 1D.
  • Defaults: Swing Length 5, Max Bars After Sweep 10, Min Reversal Body 0.15 ATR, fresh shift close on, 10 bars between signals, targets 1R / 2R / 3R, zone mitigation by close, trend filter off.

Reading the Chart

  • Small circle under / over a bar: the sell-side / buy-side sweep that armed a BUY / SELL.
  • BUY / SELL label: the structure shift that confirmed a sweep. The lines on the right are its entry, stop and targets.
  • Dotted line with a BOS / CHoCH tag: a recent structure break, drawn at the swing level that broke.
  • Orange / aqua dashed line: buy-side / sell-side liquidity at the latest swing high / low. Dotted and faded means a close has taken it.
  • Boxes: the latest order blocks (green / red) and fair value gaps (aqua / orange). Faded boxes are mitigated.

Recommended Starting Points

  • Scalping (1m-5m): Swing Length 3-5, Max Bars After Sweep 6-8
  • Intraday (15m-1H): defaults
  • Swing (4H-1D): Swing Length 8-10, Max Bars After Sweep 12-15, trend filter on

These are starting points only. Test on historical data and adjust before trading live.

  • Bullish / Bearish BOS: a structure break in the direction of the current structure
  • Bullish / Bearish CHoCH: a structure break against the current structure
  • Bullish / Bearish Structure Break (BOS or CHoCH): any structure break, whichever label it gets
  • Sell-Side / Buy-Side Liquidity Sweep: a wick through the latest swing low / high that closed back inside
  • Bullish / Bearish FVG: a new three-candle fair value gap

The alert conditions include {{ticker}}, {{interval}} and, except the EMA alerts, {{close}}. Signal, structure, sweep and FVG conditions are evaluated on closed bars only. For the two EMA alerts, choose "Once Per Bar Close" to avoid intrabar triggers.

🔵 LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMER

  • Swing delay: swings are confirmed Swing Length bars late, so sweeps and breaks are measured against levels known up to that point.
  • One structure degree: BOS and CHoCH use a single swing length. There is no separate internal and external structure.
  • Recent structure only: the default line style keeps the latest breaks on the chart. The dashboard and the alerts still cover every break.
  • Latest zones only: one order block and one fair value gap per side are shown. Older zones are not tracked, and gaps have no minimum size.
  • Fixed rules: the order block is the last opposite candle before the break, a simplified definition. Mitigation uses the zone's far edge only.
  • Visual only: entry, stop and target lines are references, and where they end is judged from bar highs and lows, not real fills. The indicator does not place or manage trades.
  • No guarantees: past behaviour of any signal does not guarantee future results. Always use proper risk management and do your own analysis before trading.
