Position Size Calculator - Easy Drag & Drop Risk Sizing
This tool tells you exactly how many contracts to enter based on how much you're willing to risk.
How it works:
Set your risk per trade (e.g. $200)
Click the chart to place your stop and entry lines
The calculator reads the distance in points and shows your contract count in a clean on-chart box
Features:
Drag & drop entry and stop lines — contracts update as you move them
Auto-detects the contract's point value from the chart symbol (NQ = $20/pt, ES = $50/pt, etc.)
Micro sizing mode: chart NQ, size in MNQ contracts
Allowed overage setting: keep the extra contract when risk goes slightly over budget instead of dropping down
Line expiry: after a set time (default 60 min) lines gray out and prompt you to re-place them, so you never size off stale levels
Manual mode: type a stop distance in points instead of using lines
Shows actual dollar risk at the chosen size
Works on any symbol with a point value. Best suited to futures and micro futures.
