System 2 - Structure Continuation
System 2A – Structure Continuation Strategy (Swing Model)
This strategy is a trend-following swing model designed to capture continuation moves after strong directional momentum. It identifies displacement using an ATR-based threshold, then waits for a controlled pullback where price maintains structure. Trades are entered when price resumes movement in the direction of the original displacement.
Stop loss is placed at the displacement origin, and take profit is set using a fixed reward-to-risk ratio, with position size calculated based on a defined percentage risk per trade.
The strategy performs best on higher timeframes such as the Daily and 4H charts, particularly on pairs like EURUSD and GBPUSD. It is designed to follow trend continuation rather than reversals and may require adjustment for lower timeframes.
