KC Confirmed Order Blocks

KC Confirmed Order Blocks is a rule-based educational indicator designed to display potential bullish and bearish reaction zones following confirmed breaks of market structure.
A bullish order block is defined as the most recent bearish candle located before a confirmed bullish break above the latest pivot high.
A bearish order block is defined as the most recent bullish candle located before a confirmed bearish break below the latest pivot low.
Main features:
• Confirmed pivot-based structure detection
• Bullish and bearish break-of-structure confirmation
• Full-candle or candle-body order-block ranges
• Optional ATR displacement filter
• Optional volume filter
• Touch, midpoint and full-fill mitigation methods
• Close-based or wick-based invalidation
• Automatic management of active, mitigated and invalidated zones
• Configurable number of visible zones
• Bullish and bearish order-block alerts
• Compact market-status dashboard
Methodology:
The indicator first identifies confirmed pivot highs and pivot lows. These pivots require the selected number of candles on both sides before they are confirmed.
After a confirmed bullish break above the latest pivot high, the indicator searches backward for the nearest bearish candle within the selected lookback period. That candle's full range or body is displayed as a bullish order block.
After a confirmed bearish break below the latest pivot low, the indicator searches backward for the nearest bullish candle. That candle's range is displayed as a bearish order block.
Mitigation:
Touch means price enters the nearest edge of the zone.
Midpoint means price reaches 50% of the zone.
Full Fill means price reaches the opposite edge of the zone.
Mitigation only indicates that price has revisited the zone. It does not guarantee a reversal.
Invalidation:
A bullish order block is invalidated when price closes or trades below its lower boundary, depending on the selected setting.
A bearish order block is invalidated when price closes or trades above its upper boundary.
Limitations:
Order-block identification is not universally standardized. This indicator applies a transparent rule-based definition so its behavior can be understood and evaluated consistently.
All zones are calculated from historical price data. Marked zones may fail, become mitigated without reversal or be invalidated during volatile and news-driven market conditions.
