Hard Entry & Exit Rules
A strategy built with a considerable amount of help with Claude.Ai.
This indicator/strategy takes a known profitable one and is intended to remove the "human" element to entries and exits, my biggest issue that prevents me from being profitable.
I know what I need to do, but emotion gets the better of me.
By doing this, I hope to reduce the amount of bad trades I take and take emotion out of the equation (or at least remove a considerable amount), with hard rules of when to get in and get out.
This is intended to be tied hand in hand with options trading, and on timeframes 3 minutes to 15 minutes.
It identifies where to enter based and exit on the close of the candles, with a hard stop of the 20ema.
It assumes you take more than 1 share/contract, with 50% being trimmed at the new high/low of day (depending on your direction) and the remaining 50% being trimmed once it crosses under a key level (PDH/PDL, PMH/PML) or the 8ema (or tapping the 20 ema).
It's also time based, and by default only trades in the first hour of the day. This can be changed in the settings.
Human judgement is still required.
