Public chats are being retired on Sep 30, 2026

In August, we introduced a new Chats experience to replace the existing one. As part of this transition, we're retiring public chats.

Public chats have become outdated and require significant moderation resources to keep conversations constructive and on-topic. We believe group chats work best when they are created and grown by active users and creators.

What's changing?

On September 30, the old Chats experience will be removed, including all public chats. After that date, only the new Chats experience will be available in Community Hub.

The new Chats supports one-to-one chats and private group chats. Public chats will no longer be available.

What should I do?

We understand how important it is for traders to connect with peers and like-minded people. Before switching to the new Chats, create a private group chat and invite people from your favorite public chats. You can also join a private group chat created by someone else.

Please note that switching to the new Chats will remove your access to public chats, and you won't be able to switch back. Make the switch once you've created or joined the private group chats you want to keep using.
