Manage or cancel your AI Copilot add-on
You manage the AI add-on from your TradingView settings. This page covers what you can see and do there, and what happens when you cancel.
CONTENTS:
- Where to manage it
- Cancel the add-on
- Reactivate the add-on
- Update your payment method
- If you cancel your main paid plan
Where to manage it
Go to Settings and open Subscriptions, then find the AI add-on section. From there you can:
- See your active package and your next billing date.
- Cancel or reactivate the add-on.
- Update your payment method.
There's no upgrade option — the add-on is a single package. If you reach the monthly limit, you wait for the next billing cycle, when it resets.
Cancel the add-on
When you cancel, auto-renewal is turned off, but you don't lose access right away:
- AI Copilot and the remaining monthly limit stay available until the end of the current paid period.
- The indicator switches to "Expires on", and access ends on that date.
- You'll get a cancellation confirmation email.
Reactivate the add-on
If you change your mind before the period ends, you can reactivate the add-on to turn renewal back on. Reactivating doesn't reset your usage — you keep whatever is left for the current period. Reactivate is available only while your paid plan or trial is still valid; if it has expired, the option isn't shown.
Update your payment method
You can add or change your payment method in the same section. The new method is saved and used for future renewals.
Refill your usage
Some tasks use up your monthly limit fast. If your usage runs out before your next billing date, you don't have to wait for the reset — you can refill it. A refill costs the same as the add-on, and it sets your usage back to 100%.
To refill, click the "Refill usage" link at the top of the AI Copilot chat. It appears next to your chat list and the usage ring once your usage drops below 50%.
Keep in mind:
- Refill is available only while auto-renewal for the add-on is on. If you've cancelled the add-on, you won't see the link.
- A refill replaces whatever you have left. Any unused usage from the current period is lost, and your usage is set back to 100%.
- Your next billing date doesn't change. The regular renewal is charged in full as usual and resets your usage to 100% again.
If you cancel your main paid plan
The AI add-on needs an active paid plan or trial. If you turn off auto-renewal on your main plan while the add-on is active:
- The add-on's auto-renewal is turned off too, and you'll see its expiration date.
- You can keep using AI Copilot within the remaining monthly limit until the end of the current add-on period, even if the plan ends first.
