Weekly Sugar Analysis | SUGAR 🍬📊
Hello and warm greetings to all my friends and followers on TradingView! 🌹📈
I hope your trades are going well and your portfolios are staying green. Today, let’s take a look at Sugar No. 11 on the weekly timeframe and examine whether the market may finally be showing signs of a potential change in structure after a prolonged bearish move. 👀
🍬 Fundamental Perspective
Sugar is one of the world’s major agricultural commodities, and its price can be influenced by several fundamental factors, including weather conditions, production levels in Brazil and India, energy prices, transportation costs, global inventories, and export policies in major producing countries. 🌾🌎
Another important factor is the close relationship between sugar and ethanol production. In Brazil, for example, sugarcane is used for both sugar and ethanol production. Therefore, changes in energy and oil prices can indirectly influence producers’ decisions and ultimately affect global sugar supply. ⛽🍬
📊 Technical Analysis | Weekly Timeframe
Looking at the weekly chart, after a long period of bearish price action, the market has finally reached an important support zone highlighted on the chart. So far, buyers have shown a meaningful reaction from this area. 🟢📉➡️📈
The interesting part is that price has managed to stabilize around this zone, suggesting that selling pressure may be weakening while buyers are gradually attempting to regain control of the market. 💪🐂
However, an initial reaction from support alone is not enough to confirm a new bullish trend. We still need to see a confirmed breakout above the key resistance zone marked on the chart. 🔎
🚀 Bullish Scenario
If price manages to break above the highlighted resistance and hold above it on the daily timeframe, this could provide a stronger technical confirmation of a potential bullish shift. 📈🔥
Under this scenario, the probability of a medium-term bullish move would increase, and traders could potentially start looking for suitable medium-term Long opportunities after receiving additional confirmation.
Rather than chasing the initial breakout, however, waiting for a Breakout + Confirmation / Retest could provide a more conservative approach, as false breakouts are always possible in commodity markets. 🎯
⚠️ Don't Ignore the Bearish Scenario!
On the other hand, if the current support zone fails and price breaks below the marked low, the bullish scenario would lose much of its validity. 🔻🐻
In that case, the possibility of further downside and the formation of lower lows would increase. It may therefore be wise to remain cautious with Long positions until the market once again demonstrates clear evidence of buyer strength.
For now, Sugar appears to be approaching an important decision point:
🟢 Resistance breakout → Potential beginning of a medium-term bullish move 📈🐂
🔴 Support breakdown → Potential continuation of the bearish trend 📉🐻
🗳️ What Do You Think?
Do you think Sugar is finally building an important long-term bottom after this extended decline? 🤔🍬
A️⃣ Resistance breakout and the beginning of a bullish trend 📈🐂
B️⃣ Support breakdown and continuation of the bearish trend 📉🐻
C️⃣ More sideways consolidation between support and resistance 🔄
