CCI Threshold State | NickJoan CCI Threshold State is a trend-following indicator built around the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) and user-defined bullish and bearish threshold levels. It identifies directional bias by tracking whether CCI moves above or below the selected threshold boundaries, then maintains the active state until an opposing condition appears. How it works The script calculates CCI using the selected source and length. A bullish condition is triggered when CCI rises above the Long Threshold. A bearish condition is triggered when CCI falls below the Short Threshold. If neither threshold is crossed, the current state remains unchanged. Visual output The CCI line is plotted in a separate pane. Upper and lower threshold levels define the bullish and bearish trigger zones. Gap Map Gap Map is a price-action mapping tool that identifies true price gaps and tracks them as live zones on the chart. A true gap is defined as: * Gap Up: the current open is above the previous bar’s high. * Gap Down: the current open is below the previous bar’s low. This means the script does not draw every close-to-open gap. It only maps gaps where the new bar opens completely beyond the previous bar’s range. 1. Core Idea Price gaps can leave visible areas on the chart where no trading occurred between two consecutive bars. Gap Map highlights these areas as zones and keeps them active until price fully fills the gap. The goal is to help users visually track: * Open true gaps * Partially filled gaps * Fully filled gaps * High-volume gap zones * Historical fill behavior on the current chart This is a mapping and analysis tool. It is not a buy/sell indicator and not a trading strategy. 2. What the Indicator Draws When a valid true gap appears, the script draws a zone between the previous bar’s range and the current open. For a Gap Up, the zone is drawn between: Previous high → Current open For a Gap Down, the zone is drawn between: Current open → Previous low The zone remains active until price fully fills the gap. 3. Gap Size Filter The script includes a minimum gap size filter based on ATR. Gap size is measured in ATR units: Gap size / Previous ATR This helps filter out very small gaps that may not be visually or analytically useful. Users can reduce the threshold to show more gaps or increase it to focus only on larger gaps. 4. Partial Fill Behavior The script can optionally shrink a gap zone when price partially fills it. When this option is enabled, the zone adjusts to show only the remaining unfilled part of the gap. This helps users see whether a gap is still fully open, partially filled, or already closed. 5. Full Gap Fill A gap is considered fully filled when price reaches the full-fill level. For a Gap Up, the gap is filled when price trades back to the previous high. For a Gap Down, the gap is filled when price trades back to the previous low. Filled zones can either be removed from the chart or kept as faded historical zones, depending on the user’s settings. 6. High-Volume Gaps The script compares the gap bar’s volume with its average volume. If the gap appears with volume above the selected relative-volume threshold, it is marked with a highlighted border. These high-volume gaps are treated as breakaway candidates for review. This does not mean the gap cannot fill. Optional Statistics Table The optional statistics table summarizes gap behavior on the current chart. Preset-dependent minimum sweep depth is: • Standard: 0.04 ATR • Sniper: 0.10 ATR • Elite: 0.18 ATR The chart candle must also meet a minimum range-to-ATR requirement: • Standard: 0.40 ATR • Sniper: 0.60 ATR • Elite: 0.85 ATR The setup invalidation buffer is based on the ATR stored when the SMT event occurs. The default buffer is 0.10 ATR beyond the SMT extreme. ATR normalization helps reduce dependence on raw price units. It does not make one configuration universal. Rolling liquidity references exclude the current candle. No future candle is used to decide whether the current candle contains an SMT event. No final signal is plotted back onto the original SMT candle after later evidence becomes available. The confirmation opportunity is temporary. The default window is eight bars. The minimum delay is one bar after the SMT event. If the active evidence does not complete in time, the setup expires. Historical output can still change when: • Engine Preset changes • comparison symbol changes • Auto or Manual mode changes • chart symbol changes • timeframe changes • exchange or broker feed changes • historical data is revised • the loaded history range changes Confirmed-close logic prevents unfinished-candle conditions from becoming permanent chart signals. Custom Theme Breadth & Leadership Dashboard Custom Theme Breadth & Leadership Dashboard This script is a customizable theme-breadth dashboard designed to help traders monitor whether a selected group of stocks or ETFs is showing broad participation, narrow leadership, mixed behaviour, or short-term weakness. The main purpose of the script is to help traders avoid looking at one symbol in isolation. Many strong market moves happen through themes, sectors, or related groups of stocks. For example, AI infrastructure may include semiconductors, memory, networking, data-centre hardware, power infrastructure and cooling. This dashboard allows users to place related symbols into one basket and quickly see whether strength is broad-based or limited to only a few names. The script is not a buy or sell signal. It is a decision-support tool for theme monitoring, sector rotation, watchlist review and relative leadership analysis. What the dashboard shows At the top of the table, the dashboard shows the overall condition of the selected basket: Overall Theme Read Constructive Symbols Breadth % Leaders Average Score Below the summary section, the table displays each selected symbol with the following columns: 1D: one-day rate of change 1W: five-trading-day rate of change 1M: twenty-one-trading-day rate of change 3M: sixty-three-trading-day rate of change YTD: year-to-date rate of change Score: a 0 to 10 participation score based on positive returns across multiple timeframes Status: a short-term participation label based on recent performance behaviour The score is designed to reward symbols that are positive across multiple timeframes. A symbol receives points for positive 1D, 1W, 1M, 3M and YTD performance, with additional bonus points for stronger 1W and 1M momentum. Status definitions Leading: 1W, 1M and 3M performance are all positive. Improving: 1D and 1W are positive, but 1M is still negative. Weakening: 1D and 1W are negative, but 3M is still positive. Lagging: 1W and 1M are both negative. Mixed: the symbol does not clearly fit into the other categories. Important note on “Weakening” A symbol can still be a strong longer-term leader and appear as “Weakening” if it has recently pulled back. For example, a stock may have very strong 3M or YTD performance but still be classified as Weakening if its 1D and 1W performance are negative. This is intentional. The dashboard is designed to show current participation and short-term behaviour, not only long-term leadership quality. Constructive Symbols Constructive Symbols means the number of enabled symbols currently classified as either Leading or Improving. This is a short-term participation measure. It does not mean that all other symbols are bad companies or poor long-term investments. It simply means they are not currently showing the short-term participation pattern required to be counted as constructive by this dashboard. Breadth % Breadth % shows the percentage of enabled symbols that are currently constructive. For example, if the dashboard shows 2 / 10 and 20%, it means that 2 out of the 10 enabled symbols are currently classified as either Leading or Improving. Leaders Leaders shows how many enabled symbols are classified as Leading. Average Score Average Score shows the average score across all enabled symbols in the selected basket. Cumulative Volume Source The script starts by building a cumulative flow series. OBV mode uses close direction multiplied by volume, then cumulates it. CVD mode uses footprint delta, which is buy volume minus sell volume for the bar, then cumulates it. OBV mode is broadly compatible. CVD mode uses TradingView's `request.footprint()` data, so footprint availability and account plan support matter. 2. Footprint-Adjusted CVD When CVD Mode is set to Footprint-adjusted, the raw delta can be boosted or softened by row-level footprint context: Price relative to the footprint Point of Control row. Price relative to Value Area High and Value Area Low. Buy or sell imbalance on the POC row. If delta and footprint context agree, delta can be strengthened. If they conflict, delta can be reduced. The Footprint Row Influence setting controls how strong this adjustment is. 3. MACD Layer The selected cumulative flow source is normalized through the original OBV-MACD style transformation and smoothed. The script then compares the transformed fast order-flow line against a slow EMA-based MACD leg. The slow MACD leg can optionally adapt based on the previous bar's adaptive confidence. Strong confidence makes it more responsive. Weak confidence makes it smoother. This uses the prior bar's score to avoid circular logic. 4. T-Channel Direction Line The main plotted blue/red line is a channel-style directional line based on the slope of the MACD output. Blue indicates positive channel direction and red indicates negative channel direction. Optional cross markers can show direction changes. 5. Adaptive Confidence The Adaptive Confidence plot is a centered score: Above 0 favors bullish agreement. Adaptive Market Suite [Jayadev Rana]Overview Adaptive Market Suite is a four-module analysis toolkit that draws on the price chart. Each module is independent: turn any of them on or off, and each has its own settings group. It shows context, not buy or sell arrows. The four modules are an adaptive trend, volatility bands, market structure with order blocks and fair-value gaps, and an order-flow oscillator. You read the confluence and make your own decisions. Module 1 - Adaptive Trend and Regime A moving average whose smoothing adapts to Kaufman's efficiency ratio: the net distance price travelled divided by the total path it took to get there. In clean trends the ratio is high and the average speeds up to hug price; in chop it is low and the average slows and flattens. The line is coloured by its slope, and the info panel reports whether the market is trending or ranging from the same ratio. Module 2 - Expected-Move Bands Volatility bands around the adaptive basis. Instead of a fixed multiple of range, the band width scales with where the current Average True Range sits in its own recent history (its percentile), so the bands contract in quiet conditions and expand when volatility rises. A nearer pair and a wider pair mark two envelopes. Module 3 - Liquidity and Structure Market structure from confirmed swing pivots, labelled as Break of Structure and Change of Character. Because the pivots are symmetric (confirmed on both sides), they are fixed before they are drawn and do not repaint afterward. On a structure break the tool marks the order block behind the move (the last opposite-direction candle before the push) and it tracks fair-value gaps, which are three-bar imbalances. Each zone follows a mitigation lifecycle: it is extended while it is live and greyed once price trades through it, and only the most recent zones per type are kept so the chart stays readable. Module 4 - Order-Flow Oscillator A normalised buy and sell pressure read in the indicator pane. For each bar it combines where price closed within the bar's range with how large that bar's volume was relative to its recent average. Sustained closes near the highs on strong volume push the oscillator positive; the mirror pushes it negative. An absorption marker highlights bars with heavy volume but a small range, where effort is not producing movement. Info panel An optional compact table summarises the current trend direction, the regime read, the volatility percentile, and the current order-flow side. It is context only. Inputs Inputs are grouped per module: General (ATR length); Module 1 (efficiency length, fast and slow smoothing, regime threshold, colours); Module 2 (volatility lookback, base and extra width, colour); Module 3 (swing length, order-block lookback, max zones per type, toggles for structure, order blocks and fair-value gaps, colours); Module 4 (pressure smoothing, absorption threshold, colours); plus an info-panel toggle. Every module has a single enable switch. Alerts Bullish and bearish structure break, and the order-flow oscillator crossing above or below zero. How to use it Treat it as a confluence map rather than a signal. For example, price reaching an order block near the lower band, with the order-flow oscillator turning up while the adaptive trend is still rising, is a stronger context than any one of those alone. Turn off the modules you do not need: if you only trade structure, disable the other three groups for a clean map. It is intended for liquid instruments and works across timeframes; the demonstration chart is Gold on the 1-hour timeframe. Limitations The structure module confirms swings with bars on both sides, so its labels and order blocks appear a fixed number of bars after the pivot forms. That delay is the trade-off that keeps them from repainting. The bands, the oscillator and the info panel read the current bar and update as it forms, like any live calculation. It fetches CFTC COT data directly, converts a chosen trader group's net position into a 0–100 index that shows where current positioning sits within its own historical range, and flags when that positioning reaches a bullish or bearish extreme. The goal is to replace "eyeballing" raw COT lines with a defined, repeatable number. The concept behind it Raw COT net positions are hard to act on because "a lot" or "a little" only means something relative to an asset's own history. This script applies a position-in-range normalization (in the spirit of a Williams %R calculation, but applied to positioning rather than price): it takes the selected group's net position (long minus short) and measures where today's value falls between its lowest and highest readings over a lookback window, scaled 0–100. A reading near 100 means positioning is at the top of its historical range; near 0, the bottom. Two windows are used together — a short (26-week) read for the current swing in sentiment and a long (~3-year, 156-week) read for the structural picture. Extremes are then defined mechanically: at or above 80 = an extreme in that group's positioning (bullish bias for commercials), at or below 20 = the opposite extreme (bearish bias). This makes "extreme" a number you can journal and alert on, not a subjective judgment.
