To give you a broader view of global markets and help you make better-informed decisions, we continuously add new data feeds. Our latest update expands our coverage of the Mexican Stock Exchange, with futures and options contracts now available for analysis. Whether you’re looking for new trading opportunities in the region, seeking to hedge your portfolio against downturns, or simply diving deeper into the derivatives market, this data is here to help.

The Mexican Stock Exchange — Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, or BMV — is Mexico’s primary equity venue and Latin America’s second-largest stock exchange, with a market capitalization exceeding $530 billion in listed companies. Founded in 1894, it adopted its current name in 1975 after acquiring smaller exchanges in Monterrey and Guadalajara. Following over a century of private ownership, it went public in 2008 and operates under a concession from Mexico’s Ministry of Finance using fully electronic trading systems introduced in 1999. The exchange contributes to the development of the country, while also supporting a broader region as a member of the MILA network.

This integration expands our BMV coverage, adding to the stock, index, and ETF data already available on TradingView. Among the newly integrated instruments, you will find:

  • Stock, index, and currency futures, including contracts on S&P/BMV IPC index — market benchmark, reflecting the performance of the 35 largest and most liquid stocks on the exchange
  • Options on futures and equity, with underlyings ranging from global stocks to Mexican listings

With a broader suite of derivative tools, you can refine your strategy, better gauge market sentiment toward specific listings or the broader market, and protect your capital more effectively.

To view the new data, go to the symbol search, select the corresponding Futures or Options tab, and enter the BMV: prefix.
