Marketplace update: More flexibility and features are coming

Oct 27

A month ago, we shared our plans to make selling indicators and strategies on TradingView clearer and more transparent. Since then, we’ve received a wealth of thoughtful suggestions and positive feedback, and we’re excited about the direction this initiative is taking.

More than 1,500 script authors have already reached out to us to discuss the transition and explore how we can help. We’re confident these efforts will create more value for users, while opening up new opportunities for creators.

We’ve been listening carefully, and we’re working on updated terms that better reflect your needs. We’ll share the details and next steps soon. The new terms will give you more flexibility in how you sell. For example, if you want to continue selling your indicators on your own website or as part of your trading courses, you’ll be able to do so.

What will happen on November 1?

On November 1, we’ll close the window for submitting requests from vendors of invite-only indicators. The following week, we’ll publish the updated terms and share an FAQ addressing as many of your questions and concerns as possible.

Most importantly, nothing will change on November 1 for you or your users. Your current experience will remain the same while we finalize and communicate the updated terms. So no worries!

If you haven’t contacted us yet, there’s still time! Email us at creators@tradingview.com before November 1 so we can take your feedback into account.

We appreciate your continued trust, engagement, and creativity. Your feedback is helping us shape a more flexible Marketplace that better serves both creators and the TradingView community.

Stay tuned, more updates are coming soon!
