Theory only takes a finance student so far. Reading about markets is one thing; watching them move, testing an idea against live data, and sitting with the outcome is another. Our educational partnerships exist to close that gap, and today we’re adding one more: Massey University of New Zealand, through its Massey Business School, joins as our newest educational partner.
Massey Business School is part of Massey University, founded in New Zealand in 1927. The school holds AACSB accreditation and its Master’s in Finance sitting in the QS 151–200 band. Within it, the School of Accountancy, Economics and Finance runs the Trading Room — the first of its kind in New Zealand. The fully functional trading room houses Bloomberg terminals, a live stock ticker, and news screens, giving finance students hands-on fund management experience.
The partnership puts our toolkit directly into the hands of Massey’s Economics and Finance community: Essential plans for students, Plus plans for academic staff. From there, the markets open up. Students can chart live data on Supercharts, surface ideas through the Screener, and sharpen their sense for risk by managing a Portfolio. They can also follow how other traders think, join the conversation, and build the instincts that come only from spending time in the markets.
For Massey, it’s a step that reflects a wider commitment: preparing graduates for a financial world that rewards hands-on skill as much as classroom knowledge.
And for us, it’s another welcome name in a network of universities that keeps growing — one more way we’re working to make the markets accessible to the people learning to navigate them.
