The Leap is our risk-free paper trading competition hosted on TradingView. Traditionally held online and headlined by our integrated partners, it gives traders a realistic environment to sharpen their skills.
This May, we took The Leap to new horizons — outside, poolside, and live. A first of its kind, this in-person edition landed in sunny Ibiza, bringing traders face to face to compete in real time.
The setting was the Ibiza Tech Forum, an annual invite-only conference bringing together business leaders across fintech, AI, Web3, and beyond — and the perfect stage to premiere The Leap’s new format.
Thirteen traders competed across three 30-minute rounds. The format was built for intensity: a point-based scoring system tied to leaderboard placement, with zero points for any round ending at or below breakeven.
With a cash prize pool of $15,000 and premium memorabilia up for grabs for the finishers, no one was coasting. Each round brought a new twist, and the outcome remained uncertain until the final round wrapped up.
