AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! I had been trading with Oanda for a couple of years and there was a misunderstanding in a discussion with my account manager and without being given a chance to explain my case, I had my account terminated. There was no warning, no opportunity to have a discussion so that the matter could be resolved and all of a sudden my pleas to be reinstated went unanswered with exception to one email where they stated they weren't obligated to give a reason for terminating my account. Before this happened, I really had the highest esteem for this organisation but after the way I was so poorly treated I will have nothing more to do with them. You have been warned!
OANDA IS SCAM.... . My funds have been held up for months now without a clear answer. They said, "This matter has been coordinated with our backend team for a thorough investigation" but what exactly is there to investigate? I’ve already completed phone verification and submitted the requested selfie holding my ID. What else is needed? Am I just supposed to let my money go? I need those funds. I’ve complied with all your applicable rules, so what exactly is left to investigate? The answers I'm getting are incredibly vague. The Oanda team is the worst.
