Overall I am quite happy with Moomoo. They offer competitive features, and I really enjoy some of the extras that they offer like the ability to earn daily points through check-ins and other various activities. These points can be redeemed for real value like stock coupons which rebate part of a stock purchase or for fractional shares in various well-known companies. This feature really makes Moomoo stand out compared to their competitors. The only complaint I have is that Moomoo will issue a 1099-MISC for these things, even when the value is really low ($5-$10). There is no legal requirement to issue a 1099-MISC for small promotions if the value is under $600 and most brokerages do not do so. This can unnecessarily complicate your taxes.
I mainly trade options, and moomoo has been a great fit. The options chain is clean and easy to navigate, with Greeks, IV, and open interest all visible at a glance. Placing multi-leg strategies like spreads and iron condors is straightforward, and I can set them up right from TradingView charts. Fills have been quick, and the low per-contract fees make a real difference for frequent traders. The strategy builder and P/L analysis tools also help me plan trades before entering. Overall, a solid broker for options traders who use TradingView. Highly recommend!
