Tauron may recoverNowadays the price of electricity in Poland is artificially kept low, which is one of the reason that utilities earn less than they do in market conditions.
I assume that this situation will not be constant. The parliamentary elections will take place in November 13 and afterwards, the government will allow the market to adjust the prices of electricity.
Besides Tauron will finish a new 910 MWe unit with much higher efficiency than its other coal units. The new unit will generate additional income for the company and it is expected to be commissioned at the beginning of the next year.
