Why go social
You may have heard that two heads are better than one. This is especially true when it comes to sensitive topics like trading, investing, and building lifelong or generational wealth. To avoid trading biases — which can be devastating for your portfolio — it is often helpful to know what others think about the markets and understand their perspectives.
Reading news has become an everyday routine: you scroll through endless feeds from top outlets, many of which view the global landscape through their own specific lens. Interpreting these stories isn't always straightforward. That's why we encourage you to connect with traders from all around the world to gauge sentiment across different regions and see how others interpret ever-changing regulations, read financial statements, and analyze Supercharts.
To grow your network, explore what you can find on TradingView and learn how to engage with like-minded traders and investors.
Trading ideas
You can start exploring markets with our community ideas. These are published by our users for anyone interested in technical and fundamental analysis. Trading ideas are not limited strictly to market outlooks or entry and exit levels; our authors also share valuable insights on trading psychology, position sizing, and choosing between technicals vs fundamentals.
You can browse different types of ideas based on your preferences:
- Popular: Recent ideas that are attracting significant attention from our community.
- Editor's picks: Top-quality ideas selected by our editorial board moderators.
- For you: A personalized feed tailored to your preferences and updated regularly with ideas we think you'll find interesting.
- Following: A custom feed you create yourself by following your favorite authors to receive timely market updates directly from them.
Community scripts
TradingViewers can create custom indicators and strategies using Pine Script® — a programming language designed by traders, for traders.

If you're looking for new ways to analyze charts, you can access community Pine indicators in the Indicators, metrics, and strategies menu on Supercharts. From there, navigate to the Community tab to explore editor's picks, top scripts, and trending scripts.

If you're a developer looking to write your own custom scripts, refer to our Pine manual to learn where to start, how the language works, and what its concepts and limitations capabilities.
Minds
Minds is a social feature designed specifically for exchanging thoughts and short updates on a particular symbol.
Suppose you want to discuss Amazon's stock specifically. You can click the Publish button in the top-right corner of Supercharts and select Speak your mind. Within the same window, you can also access ideas and news for that specific symbol.
Alternatively, you can access a symbol's Minds feed directly from its market page by heading to the Discussions tab.
House rules
Every idea, Mind, or message you share must follow our House Rules. These rules ensure our community remains a safe, respectful place where everyone can contribute constructive insights. We encourage you to review these simple guidelines to increase the visibility of your posts and help others better understand your analysis.
TradingView moderators
Our moderators are dedicated community members who have earned the trust of fellow users and the TradingView staff. They review content to ensure it aligns with the House Rules and maintains high platform standards.
If you have questions regarding TradingView content or guidelines, you can connect with active moderators directly via private messages.
Brokerage reviews
Another important way to see what community members think is through brokerage reviews. You can choose the broker you want to learn more about and read real comments from users evaluating their services, platform integration, and overall reliability.
Official TradingView social media
Beyond our on-platform social features, we maintain the official TradingView Blog, where we post regular product updates, platform announcements, and educational articles.
