Transaction rate
What is "Transaction rate"?
The number of successful transactions processed by the network per second.
A transaction is a distinct record on the blockchain and can include one or more asset transfers.
Why is "Transaction rate" important?
This metric reflects overall network load and the intensity of usage at the operation level. It captures any types of transactions, from simple transfers to more complex interactions (including smart-contract calls in relevant networks). An increase typically indicates higher activity by users and applications on the network.
