Joining and leaving a community competition

How to join

Open the competition page and click Join contest. You will need a TradingView account to do this. Joining is free on any plan. You can join an upcoming or live competition, but not a completed one.

After you join, TradingView creates a separate Paper Trading account for the competition, and the competition appears in the My contests tab.

Why I cannot join

You may not be able to join if:

The competition has already ended.
You left this competition before (you cannot rejoin).
You reached the limit of 25 joined competitions.
The competition was disabled or deleted.

If a competition is no longer available, its page shows "This contest is no longer available".

How to leave

Open the competition page, click the three dots menu and select Leave.

If you leave an upcoming or live competition:

Your competition account is deleted together with its open positions and orders.
Your results are removed from the leaderboard.
You cannot join this competition again.

If you leave a completed competition, it disappears from Your contests, but your final result stays on the leaderboard.

The creator of a competition cannot leave it.
