GCSH is an ultra-short bond fund designed to provide a potentially higher-yielding alternative to cash. The portfolio is diversified across a broad range of investment-grade debt instruments, including corporate bonds, government and agency securities, MBS, ABS, bank loans, commercial paper, municipal bonds, and structured credit instruments such as CLOs. The fund maintains a portfolio duration of less than one year. Although GCSH is not a money market fund, it may invest in specialized securities, including CLOs, other structured credit products, and private placements, which may offer higher yields. The fund may also allocate up to 5% of assets to junk bonds, up to 30% to international securities, including emerging markets, and up to 30% to non-USD-denominated investments. The portfolio managers may use derivatives and repurchase agreements to manage risk, adjust duration, hedge market exposures, and enhance portfolio efficiency. GCSH does not maintain a stable $1 NAV.
