Verbio SE engages in the production and distribution of fuels and finished products manufactured using organic raw materials. It operates through the following segments: Biodiesel, Bioethanol, and Other. The Biodiesel segment manufactures biodiesel and its by-products mainly from rapeseed oil. The Bioethanol segment produces bioethanol from grains unsuitable for food production and animal feed. The Other segment includes transportation and logistics services. The company was founded by Claus Sauter in 2001 and is headquartered in Leipzig, Germany.
