AI Boom or Bust? Most people have been calling the top in AI for over a year now, those people were deservedly punished. We were long chip stocks for well over 4 years, I posted many chip trade ideas to you guys if you follow my trades.
Now the market has melted down, and we are close to the SK Hynix earnings call following the large meltdown we predicted close to the top.
With cash to deploy, time to analyse beaten down AI stocks, this time in the risky world of high debt and Neo Cloud compute.
Coreweave provides a fascinating set up and a possible trade opportunity sitting at support. The stock lagged peers including Nebius, which went on an epic run. CoreWeave operates an active fleet of over 100,000+ GPUs (having deployed over 50,000 Grace Blackwell GPUs in Q4 2025 alone). This gives CoreWeave approximately 10x the operational GPU capacity of its nearest neocloud peer, Nebius.
Why it could bounce from here?
CRWV holds a $99.4B RPO backlog and expanding margins into H2 2026 as newly fit out data centers come online. If Q2 earnings show margin stabilization or debt refinancing progress, oversold technicals could trigger a violent short squeeze back toward the volume profile cluster.
The Bearish Catalyst (Why it could break down): CRWV is carrying $35.1B in debt with $7.55B maturing within 12 months and a negative single quarter FCF burn. If Q2 guidance hints at further CapEx inflation or debt service pressure, the $66.44 Fib level will break, quickly pulling price down toward $56.62.
Technicals Breakdown:
The 0.786 Fib holds ($66.44) + oversold bounce ahead of or post-earnings.
Entry Zone: $66.00 – $67.50
Stop Loss: $63.50 (strict exit if $66.44 fails to avoid the $56.62 vacuum). I will keep a soft stop loss here, as I may chose to add more if I like what I see from a fundamental perspective.

In-depth trading ideas
CRWV: Update – What changed over the last three weeksThe previous setup played out. Now the picture looks different.
On July 17, Meta introduced its commercial Meta Compute service, which will allow it to sell GPU compute and AI models to external clients. For the market, this signaled the emergence of a potential competitor to CoreWeave in one of the fastest-growing segments of AI infrastructure. The reaction was immediate: the stock lost about 35 percent following the announcement, and the decline continued. On July 28, the stock closed at $67.30, down nearly 29 percent for the month.
At the same time, the fundamental story has not deteriorated.
Galaxy Digital completed the first phase of the Helios data center. 133 MW of capacity was brought online under a long-term 15-year agreement with CoreWeave, with a second phase of 260 MW in development. On July 22, the company signed an agreement with Anam to supply GPU infrastructure for AI agents in the US and Europe. On July 23, Alphabet raised its 2026 capex guidance to $195–205 billion, while confirming a persistent shortage of external computing capacity. This supports the investment thesis around independent AI data centers.
Insider transactions deserve special attention. CEO Michael Intrator sold shares worth approximately $37.8 million in late June and another nearly $49 million in mid‑July. CDO Brian McBee also sold tens of millions of dollars worth of shares in July. All of these sales were conducted under pre‑approved Rule 10b5‑1 plans, so they do not by themselves indicate a deterioration in the business, but their scale is being closely monitored by the market.
Despite the correction, analysts remain positive. Truist upgraded to Buy, Baird initiated coverage with Outperform, Bank of America reaffirmed Buy with a $140 price target, and Rosenblatt maintains a $250 target. The consensus among analysts remains firmly positive, with an average price target around $140, more than double current levels.
The next key catalyst is the Q2 2026 earnings report, expected on August 11. Consensus revenue is around $2.56 billion, implying roughly 111% year-over-year growth. Market attention will focus on free cash flow, contract execution, and the pace of monetization of the multi-year backlog.
Technicals
On the chart, the key zone of $64.40–$66.36 remains intact. Here, historical support, the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement, and a potential capitulation zone for sellers converge. Oscillators are in deeply oversold territory, increasing the likelihood of a reversal structure forming on a positive catalyst.
The first target remains $92.15, then $110.20, with a long‑term target of $128.37.
The correction still looks like a reaction to a change in market narrative rather than a deterioration in operating fundamentals. The August 11 report will show whether the market has truly overestimated the threat from Meta or whether the current pullback has become an opportunity for long‑term investors.

COREWEAVE prepareth another web between 89 and 96.50, adorned with promises and stretched high enough to deceive the eager.

CoreWeave: Bounce or Breakout Ahead?CoreWeave is trading inside a falling channel, which keeps the overall trend bearish.
Price recently bounced from the lower support near $68.5, showing buyers are stepping in. A move above $95 would be the first sign that momentum is improving.
If the breakout happens, the stock could climb toward the upper trendline around $100–120. Until then, the downtrend is still valid, so confirmation is important before turning bullish. Overall, this looks like a recovery setup, but it needs a strong breakout to confirm the upside.
I will update with further information soon.

Coreweave bouncing withing a corrective strucutreCoreweave has been a disappointment for many investors and is expected to be the same for next few months.
The corrective structure has been very painful and going by the wave count, we are not yet at the bottom. I expect Coreweave to bounce till 100-105$ levels and thereafter do a sharp correction to 45$ mark which could be the end of its downfall that started from June 2025.
I would avoid long positions in this ticker until Nov- Dec 2026.
Bullish idea NASDAQ:CRWV
Technical Analysis
Triple Bottom Confirmation:
The successful defense of the $65-$70 support zone for the third time
Multiple Bullish Divergences:
The strongest argument for a reversal lies in the lower indicator panels (momentum oscillators like RSI and MACD).
Impending Breakout:
The price is currently compressing near the apex of the descending trend line and the horizontal support.
Upside Targets:
If a breakout is confirmed with volume, the initial target is the high-volume node at $105-$110. Clearing that level opens the door for a longer-term macro retest of the $140 major resistance
$CRWV — hands up, my first call was wrong. Now at Juicy LevelsStraight up: my last CoreWeave idea didn't play out. The level I liked gave way and the thesis was wrong — no spin on it.
But this is where I actually get interested. Price has pulled right back into the strong zone — where the rising trendline, the run of higher lows, and a block of support all stack up together. We made a low, then a higher low, and this is where the next higher low should form if the trend's still got legs.
Not calling the exact bottom — just flagging that after being wrong up high, this is the first spot I want to be involved again. Watching for the hold and some volume to kick in
crwv buy position
CRWV. Buy Setup in Focus.
Price is approaching a key demand zone where buyers have shown interest before. The current pullback appears corrective, while order flow continues to favor accumulation.
I'm watching for confirmation as buying pressure builds. A successful defense of this level opens the door for the next expansion toward higher liquidity.
Bias: Buy.
Patience before execution. Let the market confirm the idea, then follow the flow.
CoreWeave - A Golden AI Opportunity or a Precarious Value TrapCoreWeave has carved out one of the most unconventional and remarkable origin stories in the artificial intelligence infrastructure space. The company began its corporate journey not as a high-performance cloud provider, but as a modest Ethereum miner, riding the volatile waves of cryptocurrency speculation. However, when the crypto market experienced a brutal and prolonged crash in 2018, the company was forced to pivot dramatically. In a prescient strategic maneuver, its leadership decided to repurpose its vast array of graphics processing units (GPUs) away from the energy-intensive and increasingly unprofitable task of blockchain validation, redirecting them instead toward the burgeoning field of remote AI task processing. This radical transformation laid the groundwork for what would become a staggering period of hyper-growth. Over the span of just a few years, CoreWeave has aggressively scaled its physical infrastructure, expanding its data center footprint from a modest cluster of merely three facilities at the close of 2022 to an impressive and sprawling network of 49 centers operating globally today. This massive industrial build-out is underpinned by an enormous hardware arsenal, featuring more than 250,000 of Nvidia's (NASDAQ: NVDA) cutting-edge GPUs, positioning the firm as one of the premier specialized compute providers in the AI ecosystem.
Dissecting the Jaw-Dropping Growth Trajectory
When evaluating the sheer velocity of CoreWeave's financial expansion, the numbers border on the extraordinary. The company's top-line revenue has undergone a meteoric ascent, catapulting from a relatively insignificant $16 million in 2022 to a staggering $5.1 billion by the close of 2025—a compound annual growth rate that would make even the most established tech giants envious. Even more compelling is the company's burgeoning backlog, which has swelled to an astronomical $99.4 billion as of the end of the first quarter of 2026. This immense pipeline of contracted future revenue provides a powerful visibility cushion, giving investors a transparent window into the company's near-term cash flows. Looking further ahead, Wall Street analysts are projecting an unprecedented continuation of this momentum, forecasting that CoreWeave's annual revenue will sustain a blistering three-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 99%, ultimately reaching a colossal $40.3 billion by the year 2028. From a traditional valuation perspective, this forward-looking growth narrative renders the stock remarkably affordable on a surface level, as it currently trades at a mere 3.5 times its anticipated sales for the current fiscal year—a discounted multiple rarely seen among high-growth AI darlings.
The Ominous Financial Counterweights
However, beneath the glossy surface of explosive revenue generation lies a deeply troubling financial underbelly that is giving many prospective buyers considerable pause. While the top line has skyrocketed, CoreWeave's net losses have widened at an alarming pace, deteriorating from a relatively contained deficit of $31 million in 2022 to a staggering loss of $1.2 billion in 2025. Disturbingly, the current consensus among financial analysts suggests that this bleeding is far from over, with expectations that the net loss will nearly double again, hitting approximately $2.2 billion by 2028 as the company continues to pour billions into capital expenditures for infrastructure expansion. Furthermore, the company's balance sheet reveals significant leverage; it closed its most recent quarter carrying $50.8 billion in total liabilities, which translates into a highly elevated debt-to-equity ratio of 10.8. This heavy debt load fundamentally alters the stock's apparent cheapness. When this substantial leverage is factored into the enterprise value—which currently sits at roughly $86.3 billion—the pricing becomes notably less compelling, bringing the enterprise-value-to-sales ratio to about 6.8 times this year's expected revenue, a metric that reflects the true cost of acquiring the entire business, including its liabilities.
Deciphering the Pullback: Macro Winds and Competitive Rivalries
Given these dynamics, the pressing question on every investor's mind is whether the recent steep pullback in CoreWeave's stock represents a genuine buying inflection point or a warning sign of deeper structural issues. On one hand, the company's long-term growth potential remains virtually unparalleled, driven by insatiable enterprise demand for generative AI compute power. Nevertheless, a palpable sense of uncertainty is clouding the market's judgment regarding management's ability to execute this aggressive expansion strategy without eventually breaching its financial covenants or exhausting its liquidity. This skepticism reached a fever pitch last summer when CoreWeave's stock was hitting record highs; back then, the market was broadly pricing in an imminent series of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, which would have substantially lowered borrowing costs and eased the burden of servicing the company's massive debt.
However, the macroeconomic landscape has shifted dramatically since that peak. Today, a growing contingent of economists and analysts are increasingly forecasting potential interest rate hikes during the second half of 2026, particularly if stubborn inflationary pressures fail to cool off as previously anticipated. This hawkish pivot has triggered a broad-based investor retreat from unprofitable, high-growth, capital-intensive enterprises like CoreWeave, as future earnings become heavily discounted in a high-rate environment. Amplifying these macroeconomic headwinds is the intensifying competitive pressure within the specialized cloud compute market. Rival neocloud providers are aggressively vying for the same high-value contracts, and perhaps most notably, tech behemoth Meta recently announced its decision to commercialize and sell a portion of its own excess cloud computing capacity, introducing a formidable new competitor into the space and exerting additional downward pressure on pricing power.
The Bullish Long-Term Investment Thesis
Despite these formidable near-term hurdles, a compelling contrarian argument can be made for patient, long-term capital. CoreWeave is fundamentally an operational leverage story; as the company successfully locks in its massive backlog into fixed, long-term customer contracts and scales its utilization rates across its 49 data centers, the powerful force of economies of scale should inevitably begin to curb its bloated losses and push the business toward sustainable profitability. For investors who possess the conviction to look beyond the immediate volatility of quarterly earnings reports and interest rate speculation, CoreWeave represents a highly asymmetrical risk-reward profile. The current pullback is not a reflection of deteriorating business fundamentals or lost customer demand, but rather a temporary dislocation driven by macro anxieties and market sentiment. Therefore, if you are an investor with a multi-year time horizon seeking to gain pure-play exposure to the AI infrastructure revolution, rather than a short-term trader looking for a quick bounce, CoreWeave's latest dip may very well present a golden entry point into one of the most transformative growth stories of the decade.
CRWV UpdateWe continue to see inclining volume on impulse waves in the may-jun-july consolidation, its in harmony for moves higher, just need patience while the weak hands are shaken out. the market is taking a breather and pulling back getting ready for another high, this is just how the market works, it doesnt mean the thesis is destroyed. $84 is my next level to add to my position, you can see clearly the low volume node and volume delta sitting right there.
$160 SWOON
CRWV Follow-Up — Key Support Still HoldingFollow-up on the previous CRWV setup.
Earlier this month I was watching whether buyers could defend the reclaimed MA50 / MA200 area after the initial momentum expansion.
Since then, support near $100 has continued holding despite increased volatility across growth stocks.
The stock remains below the prior high near $137, but the higher-low structure is still intact for now.
Key areas I'm watching:
• Support near $100
• Rising trendline support
• Prior high near $137
As long as support continues holding, the broader structure remains constructive.
The next question is whether buyers can rebuild momentum and eventually challenge the prior highs again.
Do you see CRWV building a new base here, or does it need more time before another attempt at the highs?
CoreWeave ($CRWV) — the harder continuation trade, $136 is keyA different kind of trade to my recent long-term accumulation ideas — this one's a momentum continuation, and it needs discipline. If you can't set and stick to a stop, don't trade it.
The easy trade was the accumulation zone ($65–100). That's gone — price is at $111. This is the harder continuation play.
I'm long, stop at $103 — just under the 9/21 EMA, with a bit of breathing room. If this move's real, that EMA should hold. (Want more room? $88 is the safer stop, below the $91 support — wider risk, less chance of a noise stop-out.) Pick the stop that fits your risk tolerance — just have one.
I like the price action and think it's ready to break $136, the key level. Break that and it opens the door to $180.
Not financial advice — just how I read it.
Coreweave looks very weakOut of all AI infra companies, Coreweave charts are one of the weakest. The prices have started to make lower highs at the trend line which also conicides with 0.5 fib mark of the entire down move, a very high probability short setup, this more often than not leads to a price break down.
The hidden divergences are also flashing (strength is low though) and we have just reached 12 bar of a perfected 13 Demark candle so by next week itself we can see prices breaking down.
STRONG AVOID until upper trend line is broken
SL 135 on daily close.
Falling Wedge BreakoutCRWV has just broken out of a falling wedge. It needs to sustain above that trend line. Weekly closing above 90 would be great. For now, it seems to have been rejected by Daily EMA200 resistance. So, a pull back is expected. Ideally max dip till 78, not below, (SL below 77 on daily closing basis). I think it is going to begin the bullrun everyone has been expecting for a while. With some intermediate resistances at 103 and 114, I think it will be hitting 150.
The CRWV Case DossierOne filing now holds both halves of the trade: a backlog compounding toward ~$131B and an Offering Memorandum that projects the company's own path to $58.3B of net debt to fund it.

CRWV Long — $CRWV breaking above key $115-118 supply shelf on voHTF (4h) structure: CRWV carved a deep trough at ~$70 in late March, then rallied strongly to ~$132 by late April — a clear impulsive leg up. The subsequent pullback retraced to the $93–95 zone (Jun 9–11 lows), holding above the prior structural base, then launched a sharp recovery. The HTF is in a higher-low sequence off the April high, now attempting to reclaim the $115–118 supply shelf that capped multiple 4h closes in early May and again in the post-June-1 spike. That $115–118 zone is the key HTF level. LTF (1h): Today's opening bar (Jun 16, 07:30) gapped up from $108.30 open and ran to $117.00, closing at $116.70 on volume ~5.7M — the strongest green hour since the June 1 spike. This is a clean micro-BOS through the $115–118 resistance shelf with expanding volume. Price is currently consolidating just under the day's high (~$116.95). Entry at ask $116.72, stop below the breakout's base at the prior 1h consolidation low near $112.80 (clears the level by ~1.3× ATR), target at the next HTF supply cluster around $124.80 (in front of the $125–127 zone defended on the June 1 spike). R/R = (124.80 − 116.72) / (116.72 − 112.80) = 8.08 / 3.92 = 2.06 — passes the gate.
