Three flushes, three confirmations: the QQQ demand bounceTuesday's open was a flush, not a breakdown. QQQ came in soft — pre-market low 712.51 — and the opening minutes undercut it to 710.65, straight into the top of the 707–712 demand zone that has been on the map since last week. That zone is the story of the day: it was tested by forced selling, and it held.
The turn had a structure, not just a bounce. At the 710.65 low the 5-minute printed a bullish divergence with absorption showing in the flow, and the 5-minute momentum cross out of the washout

QQQ Is Still Positioned In Ascending ChannelThe Invesco QQQ Trust is experiencing a sell off driven by U.S. inflation data (CPI report), rising Treasury yields, and broad weakness across tech and semiconductor stocks. The ETF experienced a heavy net outflow of $4.18 billion mid-week.
Technical outlook:
QQQ is on a short term bearish motion. The ETF has been trading downward for a couple of days now, in concern to the framework. Price is approaching a significant trend support level, as there is plain possibility of long retracement.

QQQ: Growth & Bullish Forecast
Looking at the chart of QQQ right now we are seeing some interesting price action on the lower timeframes. Thus a local move up seems to be quite likely.

QQQ hit extreme fear: what fear spikes did next (backtest 1999+)QQQ dropped 2.5% on Oct 16 and Market Fear Meter reads 9/100, extreme fear versus the last year.
What it measures:

- Greed side: how stretched price is above its 50-bar average.
- FEAR SPIKE = panic starting. FEAR FADING = panic cooling while the trend filter is OK.

QQQ is down 6.6% from its top: is the trend still on?Short answer: not right now.
QQQ closed at 709.80 on Friday.
That's 6.6% below the Oct 6 closing top (759.66).
What my free Trend Safety Switch says today:
- Trend flipped DOWN on Oct 14 (close 728.95).
- It sold 70% and kept 30%.
- Invested now: 30%.
Why keep 30% and not sell all?
The risk regime is still OK.
It goes to 0% only when 2 of 3 warnings are on:
1. VIX ranks in its top 20% of the past year: ON (81st percentile).
2. QQQ closes below its 200-day average (about 675): off.
3. QQQ is m
QQQ hits its monthly target down after losing its October pivotQQQ closed Wednesday at 728.95, under its October and Q4 pivot at 742.58, which turned the monthly and quarterly bias down while the yearly bias still points up. It also closed below the bottom of its short-term range, on the same day as the big tech and semiconductor ETFs. Thursday’s open went straight to the next level below: the monthly target at 718.40 printed in the first minutes, with QQQ trading around 716 at the time of writing. That is where a short-side process takes profits rather tha
A Red Candle Can Still Finish Above Yesterday's CloseA Red Candle Can Still Finish Above Yesterday's Close
Candle color and day-over-day change use different comparisons. A standard red body means the close is below that candle's open. A positive daily percentage means the close is above the previous close. A gap can allow both descriptions to be true at once.
The marked October 6 QQQ candle provides a historical teaching example inside the chart reviewed on October 15. It opened at 760.52 and closed at 759.66, making a red body of 0.86 points.

Top in for QQQ at $748?QQQ looks like it put in a double top up here. I also got a weekly sell signal that fired this week.
On top of that a weekly buy signal in VIX triggered and a weekly sell signal triggered on SPY. The confluence of signals is leading me to believe that we've seen a major top in equities for the time being.
I think rates will likely put pressure on equities over the coming weeks as they're running away.
Let's see if we can get a selloff here and how low we go. $341 would be max risk to the do

QQQ: 718.32 is the flush line, 724.55 the reclaimWednesday drew one line and tested it twice. QQQ flushed in the morning to 719.72, built a double low at 720.30 into midday, and accepted above 724.55 — a level that capped price all morning — closing at 725.21, near the 727.95 high. Then the evening took it all back: overnight QQQ slid through the level to 719.47, and Thursday opens below the line, sitting on 718.32, the first support. The test now runs the other way — 718.32 is the flush line, 724.55 is the reclaim.

QQQ Remains Under a Bearish Bias, With Potential for a DeclineMarket Structure: Bearish (Lower High – Lower Low) NASDAQ:QQQ
After forming a swing high around $762.85, QQQ underwent a structural shift from bullish to bearish.
- The price formed a series of lower highs at the $758, $754, and $746 levels.
- A strong bearish impulse broke through the $734–730 support zone.
- The decline continued, testing the $707–710 demand zone.
- The price subsequently rebounded toward the $722–724 range but failed to form a higher high, which would have confirmed a tr

QQQ fell 5.5% from its top. Why my indicator didn't sellQQQ closed at 717.63 on Tuesday, 5.5% below its Oct 6 top.
My free Risk-Off Ladder is still 100% invested. That's by design.
It only sells when 2 of these 3 alarms are on:
1. VIX in its top 20% of the past year: off (VIX 17.31).
2. QQQ closes below its 200-day average (about 676): off.
3. QQQ is more than 15% below its 1-year high (about 648): off.
Today: 0 of 3. A 5% pullback is normal noise, and the ladder is built to sit through it.
What would make it sell:

QQQ back at its monthly target downQQQ closed Friday at 709.80, under its monthly target down at 718.40 and well under its October and Q4 pivot at 742.58, so the monthly and quarterly bias point down while the yearly bias is still up. At the time of writing it popped back above 718.40 at the open, reached 720.22, and is now sitting right on that level. On my side the trend reading is neutral, not bearish yet, and price sits near the bottom of its short-term range. What I watch is the daily close: back above 718.40 and Friday’s br
