Capital.com Support

⚠️ **This is my personal experience with Capital.com, shared so others can make an informed decision after considering all available experiences.** This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a trading platform. During **June and early July 2026**, I experienced repeated technical issues, including platform freezes, delayed order execution, and an inability to close my positions while the market continued to move. On several occasions, I received confirmation that my close orders had been executed, yet my positions remained open. As a result, I was unable to manage my risk, and my losses eventually exceeded **AED 245,000** after my positions were forcibly closed due to insufficient margin. After I submitted my complaint, the company acknowledged a technical incident lasting approximately **31 minutes**, but concluded through its internal investigation that it had no impact on my trading. In my view, this conclusion does not reflect my trading experience or the evidence I submitted. I provided video recordings, screenshots, trading records, and correspondence with the support team. Nevertheless, my complaint was rejected based on an internal investigation conducted by the company itself. When I requested compensation, the company relied on the fact that I had accepted its Terms and Conditions, including clauses relating to possible delays or technical issues. In my view, this did not address the facts I raised or the evidence regarding how these technical issues affected my ability to manage my trades. I have escalated my case to the relevant financial regulator and am awaiting an independent review of the facts and evidence. If Capital.com believes that any part of this review is inaccurate, I invite the company to respond publicly or contact me to review the evidence I have provided, including video recordings, trading records, and correspondence. I will update this review if there are any significant developments in my case.

Capital·com

After receiving a response from Capital.com, I see that almost every response you provide looks very similar to everyone else who has complaints about you. It's almost like copy-pasting. You invite people to contact you. I contacted you via chat in the app, and after an hour of conversation, your agent simply walked away and stopped talking without even saying "thank you." So please don't write sweetly about how helpful you are, because you're not. The next day, other people wrote something, but in the same tone, saying that you need something and don't care about what the client doesn't like. I'll repeat myself because I see you don't understand what's being said about you. A client can understand the procedure if you need certain documents to be submitted. You can require this at the beginning when registering an account. Then the client can decide whether it's worth using this app or choosing another, as there are many on the market. As for the excuse that you need to verify the client, the regulations also apply to you at the beginning of the contract, when opening an account, not just when the client deposits their money. This is pure blackmail. If they don't provide what you want, you can block their account functions, including the loss of their funds. You verified and approved me twice before, so it's incomprehensible why you keep doing this over and over again. This is absurd, and it's important for people to know the truth. Investors already experience stress when investing, and they don't need the added stress of using your app due to unclear procedures.

Brokers provide access to financial markets and execute trades. They act as intermediaries between traders and exchanges, providing the necessary infrastructure and tools to place buy and sell orders. They offer services such as order execution, market access, research, analysis, and customer support. Additionally, brokers facilitate the use of leverage, margin trading, and help ensure regulatory compliance, providing traders with a secure environment to trade effectively. Without brokers, individual traders would struggle to access markets and execute trades efficiently.
An order is an instruction for a broker to execute a trade - buy or sell an asset on behalf of a trader. Depending on your strategy, risk tolerance, and market condition, different kinds of orders can be more or less effective, let's see the basic ones.
- Market order. It's a basic type designed to buy or sell an asset immediately at the next price available
- Limit order. Specifies the maximum (for buying) or minimum (for selling) price at which a trader is willing to execute a trade. It's only executed if the price reaches the preset level. There are buy and sell limit orders - they're set to buy/sell an asset at or below/above a certain price
- Stop order. Triggered when an asset moves above or below a certain price level, always executed in the direction that the price is moving. There are stop-loss orders (automatically closes a position at a certain level if the market moves against you) and (initiates a trade when the price breaks a certain level)

Leverage is a mechanism that allows traders to open larger positions with a smaller amount of capital. It basically means borrowing funds from a broker, often multiplying your position size by 5x, 10x, or more. For example, with 5x leverage, a $100 deposit could open a $500 trade with your broker lending you $400 you don't have. It's a popular technique, but remember that while leverage increases potential profits, it also magnifies losses, which is why it's essential to learn how to manage risks.

It's always worth preparing for trades before actually executing them. On TradingView, you can do this with our Paper Trading functionality.
Margin trading means an investor buying an asset by borrowing the balance from a broker. It allows traders to increase their buying power, enabling larger positions with less upfront capital. While it can provide greater market exposure with less capital and amplify potential gains, it also comes with increased risks:
- Increased risk of losses, including exceeding initial investment
- Interest costs on borrowed funds
- Potential for margin calls requiring additional deposits
Make sure to analyze an asset thoroughly and test your strategy on a Paper Trading account to ensure you're ready to navigate these risks.
Commissions in trading are fees that brokers charge for executing trades on behalf of traders. These costs help brokers maintain their platforms, provide essential services, and ensure smooth access to financial markets.

Understanding commission structures is essential for traders, as fees can impact overall profitability. Choosing a broker with competitive rates and transparent pricing ensures cost-effective trading.
