Every screen begins with an idea — “Dividend blue chips to hold for decades” or “S&P 500 stocks near 52-week lows with positive free cash flow.” Turning that into a screen used to mean digging through the filter panel — finding the right fields, setting the values, choosing the columns, and sorting the results.
Not anymore. Meet the AI Screener: describe what you’re looking for in our Stock Screener and let it build the screen — filters, columns, and sorting included. One sentence in, a ready-to-read result out — in seconds.
From words to a ready screen
Click the AI icon in the upper-left corner of the filter panel — or press Shift + A — and type your request. Your prompt maps seamlessly to the Screener’s standard filters. Ask for “companies in India with the highest market cap” and you’ll get the India market with Market cap > 200B INR applied. No complex syntax to learn: if you can say it, you can screen it.
And it doesn’t stop at filters. The AI Screener sets up the results table too: it selects the column set that matches your question, places any missing columns on the left side of the table, and sorts by what matters most. Ask for dividend yield above 8% — and the top payers come first. If you were in another view, it automatically switches you to the table layout. Your idea arrives as a finished screen, not a to-do list.
Transparent by design
No black box here. Click the AI icon and open Explanation: every applied filter comes with a reason (e.g., “B3 is Brazil’s main exchange”), plus a breakdown of how the results are sorted and which columns were added.
It’s forgiving, too — type “golden gross” by mistake and it recognizes the typo, applies the golden cross condition, and informs you. If a request can’t be mapped, you’ll receive a prompt to rephrase; naming a market, metric, or condition usually does the trick.
Instant ideas to get you started
Not sure what to ask? Click the AI icon and browse our pre-made request templates — “Stocks with golden cross pattern today,” “Small caps that just reported earnings,” and dozens more. Start typing a keyword to instantly narrow down the list.
Template requests don’t count toward your monthly balance, giving you a completely free way to explore.
Requests on every plan
The AI Screener is available across all paid plans. Your remaining balance is displayed above the input field and resets on the first of every month.
Keep in mind
The AI Screener is currently in public beta and available exclusively within the Stock Screener, with additional asset classes to follow. Please note that:
- Requests can be made in any language (tip: best results are achieved in English)
- Mobile isn’t yet supported
- Running an AI request replaces any manually set filters (the selected market remains unchanged unless specified in your prompt)
- During the beta, the feature is provided as is, request limits may change, and it may be disabled
As always: results serve as a starting point for your own research, not financial advice or recommendations.
Open the Screener, press Shift + A, and tell what you’re looking for.
