Most bonds change hands over the counter. Dealers and institutions quote and trade directly with each other, and those two-sided quotes are what professionals look at when they price a bond.
Today, we’re bringing them to TradingView. Bonds.com, a US fixed-income trading venue, now streams live bid and ask quotes to your charts for a huge universe of bonds: US Treasuries, sovereign bonds from nearly 100 countries, and corporate bonds from around the world.
What you get
Here’s what the new Bonds.com data brings to your analysis:
- A two-sided market, not just a last price. Every Bonds.com symbol shows the live bid, the ask, and the mid between them, with yield calculated from the quote. The gap between bid and ask is a direct read on how actively a bond is quoted
- Quotes almost around the clock. Bonds.com quotes update through the Asian, European, and US sessions on every trading day, so you’re not waiting for a single market to open
- Coverage across the market. The new data includes US Treasuries from bills to 30-year bonds, sovereign debt from Germany, Italy, the UK, Mexico, Türkiye, and dozens of other countries, as well as corporate bonds from the US, Europe, the Gulf, Latin America, and Asia. Some of them appear on TradingView for the first time
How to find Bonds.com data
Open the symbol search, go to the Bonds tab, and type BONDSCOM:, or search by ISIN. The source is shown as Bonds.com on charts and symbol pages, and you can use the Source filter in the Bond Screener to find Bonds.com instruments.
These quotes work with the advanced bond analytics we released recently: switch the chart to spreads, add the Yield indicator to compare close, bid, and ask yields, or screen bonds by duration and spread.
Why it matters
Bonds.com gives you a view that used to live on institutional desks: a live two-sided market for US Treasuries, sovereign debt, and thousands of corporate bonds. Now, you can access this data right alongside your charts, indicators, and screener.
We hope this addition helps you explore debt markets with more confidence. TradingView connects to hundreds of data feeds and more than two million instruments worldwide, so there’s always more to explore. Share your thoughts with us — you help us decide where to go next.
