IBKR offers an impressive range of markets, order types and trading features, but the interface can feel quite complex for a new user. I particularly like being able to trade through TradingView, as the charting and order interface there are much easier to use. However, the IBKR–TradingView integration does not expose all of IBKR's native Time in Force options. In particular, Overnight and Overnight + Day are missing. Outside RTH is not equivalent to true overnight trading, so for orders that need to remain active during the overnight session I still have to switch back to IBKR. It would be very useful if the TradingView integration supported the same overnight order options as IBKR itself, including consistent behaviour for entry, take-profit and stop/stop-limit orders across sessions. Another minor frustration is the Web Portal session handling. It logs out fairly often, and signing back in requires entering the username, password and completing 2FA again. Overall, IBKR is extremely capable and I like the platform, but improving the TradingView integration and making the web experience a little smoother would make it much better for everyday trading.

Need I say anything else? They obviously did not even read the review...just directed me to their non-existent customer service group and phone # with no way to speak with a person. Utterly hilarious. I've been doing exactly this for months trying to resolve this issue. These people may be slammed and short-staffed, or so it is widely reported, but it absolutely does not excuse the troves of misinformation and lack of customer service. Maybe that's why they are no longer a top rated brokerage on TradingView...they've finally burned enough people for it to have an impact. Hopefully this will add to that because, like I said, if I can prevent even one person from having to go through what I have gone through it will be worth it.

Can't trade with my IBKR live connection this evening for some reason: error msg says IBKR's not providing market data for some reason, although I traded earlier today. Can't trade Nano Nasdaq-100 Futures with my IBKR connection.
BIG PROBLEMS THAT COST ME MONEY on 9-9-2026! IBKR, TRADINGVIEW OR THE INTEGRATION OR BOTH OF THEM CAUSED MY LOSSES. COULDN'T ACCESS IBKR FOR QUITE A TIME. THE STOP LOSSES DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE WORKED. CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW I ENDED UP WHERE I AM SO I NEED TO ANALYSE. IT HAPPENED ONCE BEFORE BUT THIS TIME WAS MORE COSTLY AND NOW I'VE GOT TO SPEND EVEN *MORE* TIME TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED RATHER THAN DOING TRADING!! :( WILL ADD MORE LATER.
I think Interactive Brokers are really going down recently: more and more poor executions, really huge slippages (which you cannot explain by spreads), totally incompetent customer service (after initial useless "AI bot"), terrible disorganized main portal and so on - those are new "normal" for the company, unfortunately. They used to be great company but now I am considering switching - and would definitely NOT recommend them to any of my friends. And see all those 1 star reviews recently with meaningless copy paste responses by their "reps"... Sad...
