tradovate is really good if I'm being honest. I didn't give it five stars because sometimes I can't connect to trading view when it's time to trade because of technical issues with tradovate. and tradovate apologize for the inconvenience. but I must say this. it doesn't happen often but it will happen unexpectedly, and its usually only down for a few hours in the morning session but open in the afternoon.by MoneyMarcus12 days ago

Really loved the experience of being in a trade and getting booted and locked out right at the first few minutes of NY Open. Of course I had my stop loss and take profit set, but if I would have just let the trade ride, I would have lost out. Luckily I was able to log out of Trading View. I love the platform but, there are a few things that I believe would make it top tier. The data feed is aggregated, I prefer direct raw data feed. Precision is very important for me when I am trading. An aggregated data feed can cause certain indicators to give a inaccurate indication at times. Also if I scale into a position and have a stoploss, every time I add to that position I have to change my stoploss amount which is normal, the issue is when I change my stoploss amount it changes my execution amount automatically. Then I have to go back and change my execution amount. And everytime I add to that position I have to repeat this process. There have been times that I meant to add to my position one contract but, cause I changed my stoploss to 3 and I forgot to go back and change my execution amount back to 1 when I added I ended up adding 3 instead of 1. And the lack of ability to customize hot keys such as buy on the bid, buy on the ask, sell on the bid, sell on the ask and not able to program multiple hot keys for specified amounts. What I do like is the ability to code your own indicators. I like the navigation ability on the chart, that is nice. The tools and layout is good.by B-Money14Jul 10

Really responsive in entering and exiting trades. The margins are better than anywhere else I've seen so the barrier to futures is lower. The support team has been very helpful when i have issues.by tetienne1Jun 30
I love Tradovate. The ease of the platform makes trading easier. The only thing I don’t like is how glitchy it is. Sometimes when I’m exciting a trade, it will take me out at a different time. Also today I was in a trade and the profit amount wasn’t in alignment with the way the candle was moving. I hope this makes sense.by TheMarketMogulsJun 30
