Learn the basics
Before you jump straight to trading, get familiar with the technical analysis essentials and read about fundamental analysis. Both are widely used by traders and investors to answer critical market questions — from identifying target price levels and potential trend directions to finding precise entries and exits.
Once you understand the basics, choose the assets and symbols you want to trade and test your skills with our risk-free trading simulator.
Choose a broker
While on Supercharts, click the Trade button at the top toolbar. You will see a list of licensed and verified brokers, but we suggest starting with Paper Trading , which is specifically designed to help you develop and refine your trading strategy before moving to real-money trading.
If you feel ready to take the leap into live markets, read our guide on how to choose a broker to help you make the right decision for your trading goals.
Set up your charts
Open the symbol search and select the symbols you need for your analysis. You can add them to your watchlist to track their price on a regular basis.
Stay informed by reading the latest market news and following the Economic Calendar to understand overall market dynamics. Apply technical indicators and drawing tools to structure your thoughts and visualize potential trading setups.
When you are ready, you can place a trade using several different methods based on your preference:
- Order ticket: Enter detailed order parameters, side, quantity, stop-loss, and take-profit targets.
- Chart trading: Execute, adjust, and cancel orders directly on the price chart in real time.
- Keyboard shortcuts: Place and manage trades rapidly using predefined keyboard commands.
- Additional tools: Use institutional tools like Depth of Market (DOM) depending on which method best fits your workflow.
Oh, and one last thing...
