Qantas Airways Ltd. engages in international and domestic air transportation services. It operates through the following segments: Qantas Domestic, Qantas International, Jetstar Group, Qantas Loyalty, and Corporate. The Qantas Domestic segment is composed of carrier operations in the Australian domestic market. The Qantas International segment comprises carrier operations into and out of Australia, together with international air freight operations. The Jetstar Group segment consists of airline operations across domestic Australian and New Zealand routes and international routes, including operations of Jetstar Japan. The Qantas Loyalty segment refers to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and its associated commercial partnerships and businesses. The Corporate segment covers centralised management, governance, and unallocated net finance costs of the Qantas Group. The company was founded on November 16, 1920 and is headquartered in Mascot, Australia.
